The hotel is nestled deep in Edinburgh's Old Town, only a short walk away from the historic Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Portobello Beach is some 15 min away on public transport, while Princes Street is some 500 m away.

The hotel has 6 junior suites, 4 suites, single rooms and 47 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe, room service, a laundry service, a conference room, a banquet hall and a smoke alarm are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities.     Very well looked after from the moment we arrived. Excellent choice of starters at the market table but the French onion soup was a showstopper - very authentic. Roast beef was beautifully cooked and great selection of accompaniments including big Yorkshires!! Wide selection of desserts to finish off a lovely, relaxed Sunday lunch. Thank you!     We had our wedding ceremony here and cannot fault them at all. From start to finish, everything was smooth, easy and relaxing. The booking system was straightforward, we had indoor and outdoor options which we were able to make the final decision on the night before our wedding, and on the day the staff were extremely helpful. Gavin was an absolute star the entire time, efficient, supportive, friendly and professional. Cannot recommend them enough.     Had a fabulous afternoon at Hotel Du Vin. We travelled from Dundee for our daughter’s birthday meal. The staff were excellent from Reception / Bar/ Restaurant / Chef/ Kitchen Porters.What a terrific meal.     Great large group experience at the Bistro

    We brought a group of 30 university students o eat at the Bistro and the group booking team was great to work with. On the day the atmosphere was great in the private dining room and the service was wonderful. Will definitely be back for this event with future cohorts.
