    Having seen previous comments I was hoping for the best ….1/ key cards for 2 rooms in my pigeon hole ?? So blocked the room door with furniture in case room was given to others as well2/ room lock barely connected to door3/ headboard of the bed collapsed4/ curtain rail barely hanging on and curtains doing nothing to stop light entering g the room5/ shower only cold water at a pathetic drip. Unable to use as shower6/ general upkeep on par with end of season student digs7/ as others have said, no idea how this can be 4 star!!

    Stayed just one night after a gig at Murrayfield, an absolute bargain compared to what other hotels were charging & fully met all our requirements. Very comfy & clean bed, bathroom is small but does the job. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the kitchen area but it’s a nice addition. Easy walking distance from Haymarket, quiet considering it’s what’s on what seems to be a fairly busy road. We didn’t have much interaction with staff but when we did they were very friendly & polite. It isn’t the Ritz but I have paid more to stay in much worse places, would have no qualms about booking here again.

    Stayed for one night at the end of June. While there a large mirrored wardrobe door fell and knocked me onto the bed. Hotel is not responding to myself or booking.com .

    Charming place. Common areas are somewhat fancy. The room needs some fresh touches and an update, especially with the furniture. Very spacious room.
