    Check in took ages, staff not very pleasant at reception, restaurant advertising open till 10pm, we arrived at restaurant at 7.50pm refused service, only 2 people in restaurant, told chef could not do anymore, queried timings with reception , got told timings on website wrong, I have since verified with head office, timings were correct on website, the actual hotel was lying, So have to say, would never return.

    Great location with poor hygiene (pubic hairs in bathtub) broken AC in bedroom, poor customer service at breakfast and expensive parking even with discount code and no guaranteed space even if it's pre booked.

    Avoid room 506. Very dark and dingy and lots of stains on bedside, carpet and the window is so badly marked that you cannot even see out of it.All for £280 for 1 night stay!

    Staff are friendly and helpful but unfortunately restaurant was closed for evening meal due to a private booking / function.Not good for paying hotel guests that might be relying hotel dining services.

    Hotel well situated for walking to Princes St, Royal Mile and Meadows areas. Many independent coffee shops close by. Room was simple but spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. Our room location was nice and quiet. All the staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast on the day we checked out and this was very nice with a good choice of food.
