    My first time experience of the Rosyth Gothenburg

    This is one of three remaining Gothenburgs left in Scotland. If you don’t know then read up on it, it’s not called the goth for no reason. The patrons were friendly and it was a good pint for a very good price compared to Edinburgh. The hostess, was slightly off tune, but I’ll give her the doubt of it, as we probably brought the average age down a few years and stuck out like a sore thumb. But still we enjoyed a good pint at Rosyth Goth

    Avoid like the plague. Horrible place plenty of loud and annoying junkies, alcoholics and crackheads. Human junkyard.Avoid and stay safe, unless you are armed.It really amazes me how a wee town like Rosyth can be an entire no go zone, worst than East London.

    The staff on arrival was helpful and showed us to the room. It is very basic in all ways, clean but décor is fading.. There was however such a strong smell to the bathroom of drains. There are signs up regarding nothing but toilet paper down the toilet, so perhaps there are issues. The smell could not be escaped.

    Not OYO!!!!

    I booked this hotel using Hotels.com BUT they are no longer part of the OYO and do not work with Hotels.com so although I'd paid for the room the hotel had not received it. However the Manageress couldn't have been more helpful. They managed to organise a room for us by switching around some reservations. The room was very large and immaculately clean. But, more than anything the staff were outstanding......I've stayed in 4 star properties who could take a lesson in customer service from the Gothenburg staff!!

    Stayed here for a business trip, lovely staff and such a nice bar, lots of choices to drink from and bar snacks are brilliant. The rooms are very scottish and comfortable, clean and bright. Lots of character around the hotel too!
