Great location to walk to Edinburgh castle, Royal mile and other attractions in the area. Apartment was serviced daily, basic provisions provided which was lovely considering we were self catering. Bed was comfortable. Furniture is old and worn, we had some minor issues at the start of our stay, but the gentleman on reception was excellent in sorting them out, no excuses just action straight away. Fantastic customer service - so rare.We also paid for a parking space which was behind security code gates, very pleased we did as parking is minimal in the city.I'd stay again for the location and parking. Fantastic stay, clean, convenient, affordable and cosy apartments.

Clean, cosy, convenient apartments. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was very easy to check in, they kept our bags before check in and after check out. Anything we needed or any questions we had the staff were there to help us. Fabio was very helpful and friendly. They gave us great tips for good streets in the area. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be visiting again. We stayed in apartment 20. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfy. It had a fully functioning kitchen with teas and coffee and the special touch of fresh milk when we arrived. We were able to prep and cook food in the apartment. So convenient if you are on a budget or a family. Food store just around the corner and a large selection of restaurants just down the street. Needs some work but a great location

Located very close to the Grassmarket area and Victoria Street, it's an easy walk. However the actual area it's in is a bit grimy and run down and boasts one of the most famous strip clubs, according to their ads outside. I would not have felt comfortable being outside after dark. We also had the shower leak onto the floor and when my husband used a towel to mop up the water, the towel was then covered in dark black grime and blood, so the cleaning seems to need work. It's in need of a refresh but it serves the purpose. The staff is outstanding, helpful and friendly, which is a huge plus.
