    Worst place to stay , full of drunks & junkies that come and go all night no sleep . BEWARE

    Hello , please read this , this venue is full of drug dealers and drunks , you don’t not get sleep as so many people coming and going all hours . Beds were dirty , there was no room between the beds . Plus there is lots of people stealing items . BEWARE CHEAP FOR REASON . Full of junkies . Absolutely horrendous!!!!

    Appallingly bad!Without question, the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my 61 years. The fire safety certificate had expired in May 2025, which is a serious breach of safety regulations. The kitchen was unhygienic, with rubbish left overflowing in bins for days, posing a clear health hazard. Even worse, there were nails protruding inside my bed compartment, and despite raising the issue, nothing was done to address it. My images speak volumes.

    I enjoyed my stay, the staff were friendly and receptive. There are good spaces available to use. It’s very close to town but far enough away that it’s quiet at night time. Great transport links in & around the city as well as the airport. PiP makes a good cappuccino! Unfortunately there didn’t appear to have been any housekeeping done except rubbish bin emptied in the room. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned in the 3 nights I was there. There’s been a change in management of the hostel so hopefully this area will be addressed. Also extremely hot room. It should be mentioned in the description that there’s up to 4 flights of stairs so people are aware they’ll have to carry their luggage up those stairs.

    So incredibly impressed with the staff, rooms, bar prices, breakfast and cleanliness of this hostel. We were welcomed like friends by Pip and Luca during check in and they could not have done more to make us feel happy and comfortable. This is budget accommodation with first class customer service. I would highly recommend.
