We booked a single room for two of us. The room was clean and every service were up to the mark. I would definitely recommend it to others. Only one concern was about the price.

Good location for walks in Pentlands from (just across bypass) from accommodation and easy to access from bypass

Completely disappointing - Paid for services not honoured

    rating04 May 2026

I paid extra (£21) to book 2 rooms next to each other as travelling with young kids and disabled adult. Upon check-in we were told they ‘accidentally’ gave on of our rooms to someone else and we were separated by many rooms. I was told to come to reception the next morning for a resolution as the supervisor will be in, but when speaking to the supervisor this morning, I was told to contact customer support online, the supervisor was completely dismissive and rude when speaking to me and did not help in any way.The room itself was hard to sleep in as the noise from outside bypass was so loud, no soundproofing whatsoever. The handwash was also empty when we checked-in and when telling reception, they said they would fix it. When we later came back to the room, there was a wrench tool left next to the sink which was picked up by a kid and nearly injured them. The handwash was also leaking since then and made a mess in the sink. It was meant to be a foam up but green liquid was constantly leaking. We also ordered a breakfast box on the first day and the milk was EXPIRED by 2 months. Just an appalling experience overall.

    Erika is a superstar!

    rating29 Apr 2026

We went for a 4 day trip to Edinburgh and our stay was amazing. Our room was quiet, clean and comfy, though prices were on the higher side. It has parking, Starbucks is right next to it, along with a 24-hour Shell shop. Views from inside and outside the hotel are breathtaking. Erika made the stay even more comfortable by going beyond the usual. Literally the first Travelodge where no one knocked before the checkout time, indicating that they are managing the facilities well.

Excellent value for a clean budget hotel - highly recommend

    rating22 Apr 2026

Contrary to other reviews, I found the rooms clean and well serviced. The price was extremely competitive compared to other budget hotel brands. Free on-site parking was available, and the proximity to the city bypass meant that it was easy to access other parts of the city. The hotel was very quiet at night, and we slept well as the beds very comfortable, and the room temperature just right. We will stay here again when next in Edinburgh.
