Good central hotel
21 Jun 2026
We stayed overnight after my son competed in the west highland way runHotel room had everything we needed and was very central in locationWe had dinner and the food was good with a lovely view of the loch across the road. All staff were very helpful and Roseanne our server at dinner was particularly helpful with sorting a meal in the room for our son who had a leg injury.Good breakfast with everything you could need Muthu Fort William Hotel, manager at Muthu Fort William Hotel, responded to this review Dear Katielanarkshire,Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience at Muthu Fort William. The nicest staff we have encountered.
06 Jun 2026
A bit of a walk from the train station. The rooms are decorated in a Vegas-like style, a bit gaudy and over-the-top but fun. Unfortunately, we were given a room on the outside of the hotel, it was considered the new part and the walls were paper thin, we could hear every cough and sneeze from next door. The staff was the best part of this experience. The woman who checked us in was so friendly and pleasant. She made us feel very special. Muthu Fort William Hotel, manager at Muthu Fort William Hotel, responded to this review Dear Joanne,Thank you for your kind words about our staff! We're delighted to hear that their friendliness made a positive impact on your stay. Wonderful Stay in Fort William
08 May 2026
This has to be one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in - and we travel a lot! Looked opulent in the photos and it was! Room was beautiful and spotless! Great shower to revitalise us in the morning! But the thing that clinched it was the service! In particular Rose Ann. I have never met anyone as genuinely friendly and helpful as this beautiful girl! Her husband also worked in the Hotel and they clearly have customer service at their core. Rose Ann is a gem in MGM’s crown for sure! We were meeting my niece who had completed the West Highland Way and we asked if she could join us for breakfast? For a very reasonable price she was booked in! When we mere leaving Rose Ann presented my niece and I with chocolates! Cannot wait to go back! Muthu Fort William Hotel, manager at Muthu Fort William Hotel, responded to this review Dear Heather,It's wonderful to hear about your exceptional experience at the hotel! We’re thrilled that you found the room beautiful and the service outstanding, especially with Rose Ann’s warm hospitality making a memorable impression. Thank you for sharing those lovely moments, including the breakfast arrangement and the thoughtful chocolates. We look forward to welcoming you back for another amazing stay!

A mishmash of old Scottish and new Indian bling.
06 May 2026
On a busy roundabout with views over the Loch. It's an old hotel that has been taken over by an Indian business and the decor is a mix of old tired Scottish which presumably is being renovated and new Indian bling. It's a little interesting in places!! Muthu Fort William Hotel, manager at Muthu Fort William Hotel, responded to this review Dear S B,Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It’s great to hear that you found the setting interesting, with its unique blend of old Scottish and new Indian elements. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to enhancing the experience further at Muthu Fort William.Regards/MFW
