Location

Facility

300 non-smoking rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas.     We checked in and everything was fine, room was nice. We ate at the in-house Cask & Clyde restaurant - really good food. BUT, what really made our night was the service. The barman, sorry can't remember his name made great cocktails. The 2 staff that really stood out were Gayle and Sherry in the restaurant. These two lovely ladies served us politely, professionally, but also very friendly and happily. Apart from the great food, Sherry and Galye lifted our mood to 'great'. Thank you.     Gayle was fantastic and was very personable with helping us at the Cask & Clyde. She made us some spectacular drinks and was a joy to converse with.     This hotel was not far from bus station and shops. Hotel was really nice - a great large and clean room which had everything we needed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and regularly refilled- only thing was that I understand ordering eggs means they are fresh but some out and replaced often might have worked better as the wait for a fried or poached egg took a while. Overall a lovely hotel which feels really nice from the moment you enter, would return to this hote.     Flooded room!!!

    Here for a convention. Came back to my room late at night to find room soaking with water from above. Carpet soaking, wardrobe soaked. And a constatnt heavy "drip" all night. Called the desk, many came up and told me nothing they could do until morning. Useless!!!Only there 1 night.Drip drip drip ALL night long.
