Fantastic location. Large and comfortable space with a great view of the river. Quiet and clean. Some issues getting into the building but resolved quickly. Missing towels and no hot water, both resolved. Very expensive but we went in June so it was expected.

The Highland Place apartment in Inverness has been a pain from the get-go. First, while in Edinburgh, we had to spend about 45 minutes on the pre-check-in to the hotel process, by entering everyone’s passport numbers, phone numbers, addresses…, Then we had to pay for parking online, which repeatedly did not work as it should have. After finally paying for parking, we were sent an access code for the garage and our apartment. When we arrived in Inverness, the garage code did not work and we had to hang around and wait for someone to pull up who was nice enough to let us in the garage. Then the same code did not work for us to enter the building, once we had parked. At that point, we called the helpline and got a master code that got us into the building. This whole process took an hour. Upon entering our apartment, which has a large patio that overlooks the city center and river, we were greeted with a note that says we cannot go to the edge of the balcony and look over at our view because of construction. We are limited to six plastic mats set outside of our balcony door. Next we discovered that we have a washing machine for clothing, but no dryer, even though the apartment advertises that they have "drying facilities IN the apartment". Our drying facility, so to speak, was a drying rack. We had to hang our clothes all over the apartment to dry. And the washing machine is so loud it’s hard to sleep over the noise. Finally, no hot water after 5 minutes in the shower. This is true at all times, night or day, and for the first person showering, when the clothes washer and dishwasher are not running. We can’t find a way to adjust this in the apartment. (I’m not sure if air conditioning was advertised with the apartment, but if so, there isn’t any, and it’s hot!) The only plus for this apartment was the location!

Centrally located however can be noisy with traffic but a small price for the views, accommodation, added bonus the train and bus station within 5mins walk.

Location is fabulous. Apartment is clean with well equipped kitchen, washer, washing detergents. Very happy with the stay.If I really have to mention a drawback, would be the construction going on, and resulted the carpark entrance to be partially obstructed. Took us a while to find the entrance. But that is external factors/environment. Otherwise great experience!

Amazing apartment, amazing location

The apartment was even better than we expected. Amazing location, lovely views of the river with balconies to enjoy the view! It was perfect. We be loved it so much we ended up cooking dinner one night. Highly recommend. Great access to connect with staff for any help. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
