    We stayed one night and when we got back to the room the TV wasn't working so called reception and we got the wonderful Pippa from housekeeping! She came to our room and spent 45mins trying to tune the tv while calling other staff to sort the issue then Pippa went to get another TV for us and worked straight away! She was absolutely amazing and made our stay with her chat and banter while trying not to lose her head!! Would stay again just because of her service!!! THANK YOU!!     Awesome stay — from the minute we walked in to the historic building, mgr Shane greeted us and shared info, help w/vags from our car, and recommended an amazing Greek restaurant for dinner. In addition, there is a comp guest laundry w/detergent at reception. The mattresses were comfy, towels fluffy and shower water pressure was great. Lovely bath products, too!Put Aloft Liverpool on the top of your list when staying in Liverpool.     Rough and ready. Room shabby.

    Our room had so many little things wrong with it. The bathroom door was impossible to close. It was supposed to be on a rail, but the door was scraping on the floor. The curtains did close properly, and were hanging off the wall. There was a hole in the cabinet where a switch had knocked out. The bathroom shower floor was dirty.It would take a little care and attention to fix these things, and Marriott hotels would be ashamed to share their name with the hotel. For the £360 weekend stay, I would expect MUCH better than this.     Aloft was wonderful. Came into Liverpool for a conference. There were 10 of us under the booking. Everyone was so helpful, especially Shay. Would also recommend the breakfast!
