    Value for money

    rating13 Jun 2026

This hotel was good value for money, ideally situated right in centre of town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but you know this when booking. It’s definitely worth upgrading to a window room. Will use Easyhotel again on are next visit to Liverpool.

    Advertised accessibility questionable, be aware...

    rating01 Jun 2026

Currently on a trip to visit family in the UK from Sydney Australia. As a wheelchair user with accessibility needs, finding suitable accommodation can be a challenge at the best of times, however I feel this review is warranted to advise anyone with similar needs what to expect if they are looking to stay at this hotel. For reference, I am a T5 paraplegic with a spinal cord injury, an active manual wheelchair user and use a commode chair in the bathroom.I did reach out to the manager at EasyHotel Liverpool several days ago, but have yet to receive a response, see my email outlining the issues I faced below:"Hi there, I would like to bring to attention some accessibility concerns that have been particularly challenging during my stay here at your hotel.Air conditioning controls are inaccessible for a wheelchair user and won’t stay on longer than an hour during the daytime, this also seems to happen during the night when it is apparently supposed to remain on continuously. For someone with temperature regulation issues due to their disability, this is a real problem.Tv was turned off at plug socket and barely accessible even for an able bodied person.Bathroom floods and floods the room each time I shower, water also pools around the toilet so it won’t drain or dry - This has been fixed now but should have been inspected and rectified at the last vacancy. Toilet is very high and the flush handle is broken and difficult to use. Bed is very low and mattress moves around easily on the bed base, making transfers to/from a wheelchair difficult/dangerous. Bedside power sockets are faulty on the side closest to the window, anything plugged into them is only intermittently powered depending on how far the plug is inserted. Lift seems to be intermittently faulting, buttons don’t always work and sometimes the lift doors open and close randomly.Lack of any storage or shelving anywhere in the room or bathroom.Shower curtain doesn’t move easily at all, the rings are very tight on the rail.Shower head on wall is aimed too high and therefore useless for a person in a wheelchair.Hand held shower head very low pressure, also bordering on useless for a person with mobility impairments and issues with balance and reach.Due to the above concerns, it has been necessary for me to find a suitable alternative close by, which was particularly challenging at short notice to find something that meets my accessibility needs for the remainder of my trip.I will be checking in to the alternative accommodation on Monday 1/6/26 and am requesting that the remainder of my booking at EasyHotel after this date please be refunded to the original payment method, as the room is not fit for purpose."I did manage to find an excellent alternative accomodation with brilliant accessibility considerations just down the street at Staycity Aparthotels, Liverpool Waterfront, also for anyone looking for something suitable in the centre of Liverpool.Hopefully this will help people to avoid this unnecessary inconvenience in the future.Happy travels!

We won’t be booking he again

Had a one nights stay here and we was very disappointed £210 we paid and there’s literally nothing in the room no wardrobe you can’t even swing a cat around in the room it’s so tight on space and it’s very basic don’t think we’ll be back here again it was very expensive for what you get. We asked if we could leave our bag and they wanted to change £10 for putting it in a tiny space so we decided not to bother and just paid £20 for a early check-in

    Never again

If you are unfortunate enough to have to stay at this hotel do not book a room without a window. They are claustrophobically small and offer no amenities such as kettle, complimentary drinks, tooth mugs or a wardrobe or drawerWe paid an exorbitant price for an overnight stay in a cupboard! easyHotel Liverpool, Guest Services / Front Office at easyHotel Liverpool City Centre, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. As a budget hotel, our concept is to offer compact and affordable rooms in a prime city centre location. Our no-window rooms are designed for guests looking for a lower-cost option, and we understand that this style may not suit everyone. We also appreciate your comments regarding the facilities. In line with our concept, we do not provide in-room amenities such as kettles or wardrobes, which allows us to keep our prices competitive.Your feedback is very valuable to us and helps us continue to improve our service and guest experience. We regret that your stay was disappointing and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.Team easyHotel Liverpool

Compact, budget hotel in a central location - perfect for a 1 night city stay

    rating26 Mar 2026

We were concerned by the 1 star reviews and fully ready to ditch the stay, but we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is very central, perfect location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was compact, clean and had everything we needed - bed, tv, aircon, big window, ensuite, towels, even shower gel in the shower. It felt secure as you had to use your key card to access the hallway to your room. The windows don't open - which it clearly states on the website, so not sure why people are complaining about this. We didn't have an issue with this as we already knew it was the case, and the aircon worked perfectly. This is a budget, space effient, hotel. We paid £35 to stay here for 1 night, and for what we got it was absolute bargain!!Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. easyHotel Liverpool, Guest Services / Front Office at easyHotel Liverpool City Centre, responded to this review Dear Alice,Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that you had a pleasant stay with us and that we were able to exceed your expectations.
