    What a GREAT stay from the moment we arrived, thanks to an efficient and warm welcome from Katie in particular.We were a couple staying for only one night due to collecting our daughter from university. We found the car park easily and goid signage took us to the lift, where we made our way to Recetiom to check in. We were warmly greeted by Katie, who helped us sort our the car parking and city tax. Despite being a little earlier than our designated check-in time, Katie asked if we would like her to see whether a room was available. Luckily for us, one was ready therefore we made our to the room to deposit our luggage. The room smelt fresh and looked clean, tidy and spacious. The room had a good view of the Liverpool eye. Amenities included: iron and ironing board (which we made use of for our evening attire), tea/coffe/kettle, hand soap/cream, shampoo and shower gel, a hairdryer was available too. On our return from dinner, we had set the temperature to air con, due to the high degrees that weekend. The room was pleasant and we had a restful night's sleep. Lovely quality feather down quilt and pillows. Breakfast was really busy as the resturant is small (the availability of tables and chairs). Nonetheless the food and choice was as good as we have experience in other quality establishments. No complaints, we enjoyed: croissants, a full English cooked breakfast and fruit. All staff were working hard to clear away and replenish the food items and crockery throughout. Katie was yet again proving to be an excellent member of the team at this time. We had a wonderful stay and will most definitely return. Compliments to all the staff with a special mention to Katie. We stayed at a nearby hotel a few months earlier and the staff there need to take a leaf out of the Hampton by Hilton's customer service. Thank you to all.     We met our friends from Scotland here for 3 nights. Was exactly what was expected of this class of hotel. Staff all friendly and helpful. The basin in our bathroom had a bad leak soaking the bathroom floor, just before we went for breakfast, so we reported it to reception before we ate. When we went back upstairs 45 minutes later, it was fixed, all mess cleared up, housekeeping cleaned room etc, and a card left on the bed offering us and our friends a free drink and snack from the bar. Were told we could have any drink we wanted. That’s pretty good customer service.     Stayed here for a huge work event, a large group booking. Left early on the Thursday morning due to conference and unfortunately left my expensive speaker in the room. Contacted them Friday when I noticed after I unpacked and contacted them to say cleaner didn’t find a speaker which is a complete joke. So they’ve either stolen it or they haven’t cleaned the room correctly and the next guest has taken this. Totally zero help and couldn’t care less.
