    Just horrendous and a rip off.. I had the misfortune to stay here for one night whilst in Liverpool.. It felt like half the contents of the room had been pilfered by the previous guest, but oh no, it was the hotel setting a very poor standard.There were holes were the small fridge used to be, there were holes were the in room safe used to be. There was just one measly bottle of water and a tiny plastic cup, for the grand price of £288 for room only!In addition the ice machine (as there was no fridge) near the lift had also been removed but the sign was still there and the shoe shine machine was broken.This is the worse Hilton I have ever stayed in and it probably only gets away with it as it is so close to Liverpool 1...I didn't book the exec lounge this time as I knew it was a total waste of money...My advice - don't be fooled by the Hilton Brand - this is just not up to scratch at all.

    Perfect location for dockyard and Beatles tourism. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. Convenient to train station. In the midst of the action, but comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Large room, comfortable bedding, chair and table for relaxing. Wide array of choices for breakfast. Staff professional and pleasant. A lovely stay!

    The shower was rubbish, and my colleague said the same. Everything else was ok.
