Location

The hotel is located directly opposite the main train station, Lime Street. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes from the end of the M62 motorway and is a 2-minute walk away from the bus station. Anfield Football Ground is around 10 minutes' drive away, and Liverpool John Lennon Airport is some 12 km from the hotel.

Facility

139 rooms, including suites and 138 double rooms, are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A desk is provided. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.     Excellent stay in this hotel. My first time to stay in the hotel. I stayed for one night , surprising my parents who were already here. I travelled early from Dublin and when I arrived at the hotel , I was greeted by two friendly reception staff, Niamh and Melinda. They kindly allocated me an early check in and played along with me surprising my parents who. Breakfast was really nice. Lovely view from the restaurant. Bedroom was nice . Bed comfortable. Shower nice. Room clean. All in all , a very pleasant experience. Will return!

    We always stay here when in Liverpool. I had emailed beforehand to see if we could have rooms close together as my Aunt had recently lost her husband. We were so pleased to have been given interconnected rooms. Fantastic service and! Debbie on reception was super helpful as always and Lili in the restaurant was so kind, friendly and efficient. The staff really make this hotel stand out. Our rooms were spotless and had everything that we needed. All of our meals were excellent. Breakfast always offers a great choice. Lunch and dinner were also very good and great value. We look forward to our next visit.

    We have visited this Hotel so many times as our granddaughter is at Liverpool uni and it doesn’t disappoint the staff are so friendly a big thank you to Debbie on reception who is always so helpful . The hotel is in a great location and the parking is reasonable.     The Perfect Stay in Liverpool city Centre

    2nd time at the Holiday inn Lime street liverpool. Hotel is perfectly situated across from Lime street Railway station and start of shopping area close by. Our bedroom was comfortable and clean. Cleaned and towels replaced daily. The breakfast which was included is definitely 10/10. Buffet style and everything from cereals, full cooked breakfast to yoghurts and mixed bowls of various fruits. Tea or coffee brought to your table. The staff are so friendly and a special mention to Kathy who served in the restaurant. She is so friendly and took the time to advise us where to go and watch upcoming Champions league Final. Lovely person and a credit to the Holiday inn Lime street Liverpool. We wouldn't stay anywhere else and be back next year.     A very disappointing experience

    This is a story of the good, the bad, and the ugly.The good: The reception and all other staff are welcoming and are always anxious to see guests happy. The rooms are large enough with simple, practical, furniture and just enough to meet guests needs. Housekeeping is at acceptable levels.The bad: This hotel presents as a "full service Holiday Inn". A missing item from the room is a small refrigerator. This should be as basic an item as the provision of an iron & ironing board.The ugly: I had the misfortune to be in Liverpool during the coldest spring week almost in memory. The air-conditioning is centrally controlled and is setto change from heating to cooling on fixed dates. It is on cooling. So, I have a very cold room with only cold air available from the air-conditioning. and wind whistling through the poorly sealed windows. Management offered to provide a room heater. The only other way to keep warm is in bed under the doona.Conclusion: This hotel falls short of the generally high standards of a "full service" Holiday Inn.
