    Stayed here many times as it’s in a perfect location, parking close by & we’ve always been happy with the room but this time the bed was so uncomfortable rock hard mattress & pillows, the shower wasn’t good we’ve always loved the showers on previous visits, gaps in the laminate floor. Left the room 10 minutes after the cleaner knocked we told her we was leaving very soon, when we arrived back about 7.30pm the room hadn’t been cleaned bed not made no big deal but we had left towels on the floor to be changed no toilet roll left as I said when I went to reception to complain we don’t except this when were paying well over £100 per night! I explained we had milk left in fridge so someone had been in, no apologies just excuses given that they are different staff. We had a meal but then no staff around to ask for the bill when someone finally appeared at the bar we paid with a £5 service charge added! Doubt if we’ll stay again unless we see on here things have improved

    It’s a bit of a mixed bag but is comfortable and I slept really well in a good sized, very quiet, room. Staff are a bit absent and the bar is quiet to the point of being eery. The room was a bit shabby but had everything I needed for a good couple of nights. I really liked the location and being able to stroll down to the Mersey.

    Great location, professional informative staff. Room on 6th floor, modern, very clean. Shower - water piping hot, lovely. Room quiet. Breakfast outstanding. Ordered veggie but swapped veg sausage for crunchy bacon - it was so nice and kept warm. Beautiful decor everywhere you look. Parking was easy to. Give registration with reception who verified discount. At multiple storey on putting in reg only £8 to pay for the night. Highly recommend.

    The hotel is in a great location. Right next to the docks and 5 minutes from the city centre. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfy.HOWEVER the restaurant is a complete disaster at breakfast. You have to book a specific time, and on both occasions we arrived exactly on time only to be left waiting. On the first morning it took 59 minutes to get served, and 30 minutes on the second. They had also ran out of some ingredients so couldn’t serve the full menu. The 2 members of staff that served us on the 2 days were polar opposites as well. One guy amazing and friendly, the lady who was doing from of house on the first morning and then serving on the second was rude. It’s a real shame as the food is very good.
