    Good experience, but take earplugs!

    rating08 Jun 2026

Stayed for two nights as a group of three adults for a family birthday celebration. Apartments are located on a very lively, busy city centre street. Several paid parking options nearby. Apartment was a 1 bed with a sofa bed, very well equipped, mostly clean ( floors were filthy, we could not walk barefoot) beds very comfy, staff super friendly. But.....this is a very noisy area, especially on a Fri and Sat night I expect, lots of local bars and venues pumping out music till the early hours, for us no big issue as we were out ourselves, but you need good earplugs if you want to sleep before 3am...would stay again for a party night, but would be more likely to try the waterfront one next time.

    Fantastic rooms! Great location

    rating07 Jun 2026

Stayed with a group of girls over a few apartments. We had duplex apartment with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 which were en-suite. The upper floor had a massive kitchen and dining area with a separate lounge area with TV. Fully equipped with TV, fridge/freezer, over and hob, kettle and hot drink making facilities. There was extra bedding, portable fans and ironing board and iron. We paid for early check and Ophelia was really quick at checking us and really friendly every time we passed reception. We had a few groups from other apartments who joined us for pre-drinks and the staff were really accommodating. We did have to give a list of who was staying which was fine. Location was central to everything we had booked so saved loads on taxis. Thanks so much!

    Easter stays

    rating06 Apr 2026

Stayed one bed apartment wed to Friday during start of Easter holidays. Apartment was a little small when sofa beds pulled out but served purpose for a cheap but effective stay. Tesco Hanover street round corner, saved a fortune cooking ourselves. Shower good pressure. Duvets a little stained but besides that apartment warm . Will be back again. Amelia D, at Staycity Aparthotels, Liverpool, City Centre, responded to this review Dear MarkThank you for your review. We are pleased to hear the apartment suited your needs and offered good value for your stay, and that you found it warm and practical. It is also great to know the location worked well for you, especially with Tesco just around the corner, and that you enjoyed the good shower pressure. We are sorry to hear the duvets were not in perfect condition, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. This is not the standard we aim for, and we will make sure this is followed up with our housekeeping team.Thank you again for your feedback, and we are delighted to hear you would stay with us again. We look forward to welcoming you back.

    One night stay

    rating29 Mar 2026

Stayed in the two bedroom / two bath apartment for one night. The apartment has everything you would need for staying longer term - kitchen / dishwasher / fridge freezer / washing machine etc. Although the fridge didn’t seem to be very cold. The “double sofa bed” in the living room was actually more like two singles as there was a large gap between the sides of the bed. Not necessarily a problem but not exactly as advertised. The double bed in the main bedroom was large but very uncomfortable - it was extremely soft and had a large dip in the middle. All the beds including the sofa bed were also very squeaky - you couldn’t move without waking everyone else up. We ended up having a terrible nights sleep and were glad we were only there for one night. For a city centre location and being above a cocktail place it wasn’t as noisy as I was expecting - although we were on the 4th floor so a lower apartment might hear more. Nice to have car parking in the city centre although a shame it is charged extra at £15 a day. The entrance is round the back off Gradwell Street which isn’t mentioned on the website so had to contact the hotel to find access. It was extremely dark in the car park and we had to use phone torches to see into the boot of the car when grabbing our stuff out. Amelia Dawber, General Manager at Staycity Aparthotels, Liverpool, City Centre, responded to this review Dear Myersj96Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay. We’re pleased to hear that you found the apartment well equipped for longer stays and appreciated the central location, as well as the availability of parking. However, we’re very sorry to learn about the issues you experienced, particularly with the comfort of the beds and sofa bed. This is certainly not the standard we aim to provide, and we understand how important a good night’s sleep is. Your comments regarding the mattress condition, noise, and sofa bed setup have been noted and will be reviewed with our team.We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the fridge not being sufficiently cold, as well as the lack of clear directions for accessing the car park and the lighting conditions there. This is valuable feedback, and we will look into improving both our communication and the on-site experience. While we’re glad noise levels were manageable during your stay, we regret that the overall experience did not meet expectations. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we need to improve. We hope you might consider staying with us again in the future so we can provide you with a much more comfortable experience.Kind RegardsFront Desk
