Location

This city hotel is located at the heart of the city, close to Lime Street station (approximately 50 m). The surrounding area is filled with shops (300 m), restaurants and buzzing bars (200 m) and nightclubs (500 m). John Lennon airport lies some 19 km, 15 minutes drive, from the hotel and Manchester airport is some 55 km, 40 minutes drive away and there are excellent transport connections providing quick and easy access to both of these airports.

Facility

The hotel has 152 non-smoking rooms and 4 suites, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Had a great time in Liverpool, staying at The Liner Hotel, it was central, the staff were great, especially Nervada who guided us with the best places to go and see.Excellent service!

    Excellent in every way. Comfy beds, brilliant location, wonderful staff, tidy and clean rooms, great value for money, free parking (if you’re a guest here), quiet (despite being next to a police station, theatre, railway station and busy road!) and has a brilliant atmosphere in both the main hotel and also the restaurant and bar.

    We were so pleasantly surprised at how lucky we were to have booked to stay at the Liner Hotel. Situated adjacent to Liverpool Lime Street Train Station, it was ideal as we traveled to Liverpool by Train. Also, a more central, yet quiet location you could not wish for. The brasserie and Castaway Bar being attached was so handy and very pleasant to use. Our room was spacious, bright and airy and ever so clean. The bed and pillows were so comfy and I slept as well as I would have at home.However, the over all thing that made our stay as pleasant as it was would be the staff. Literally every single member of staff we spoke to were kind, polite and helpful beyond words. I'd particularly like to mention:Carrie - for being as polite, smiley and helpful as anyone receptionist I have ever known. She was incredibly knowledgeable about local transport and just so lovely to chat to.and Nadia - for keeping an incredibly busy breakfast session moving without a hitch and doing it with a cheery smile and with incredible efficiency. Despite it being so busy, everyone's needs were met and I know we weren't the only guest who were so impressed by her service.Both of those ladies are a credit to the Liner Hotel and have made such a positive lasting impression, not only of our stay at the Hotel, but of our time in Liverpool as well.If you are looking for a clean, friendly, central and budget friendly hotel, then I cannot recommend The Liner enough!

    Satisfied with stay. Hotel is well located near Lime St Station. Good functional rooms, clean, good buffet breakfast. My only comment is that mattresses could use a renewal. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

    Nice stay for 4night staff friendly and helpful especially the dining room staff food was good quality prepared well good choice two coffee vending machines one toaster .Room cleaned daily some signs of wear and tare but it's a busy hotel Didn't use restaurant but people told us it was nice .The Castaway bar was pleasant very accommodating staff
