    What a beautiful hotel in a fantasic location.We had 6 rooms and everyone was happy.Lovely staff, spotless and beds were really comfy.There was a small tax to pay at the hotel, for each room.We got a discount on the breakfast for booking in advance, £12.50 instead of £17.50.I have had breakfast at a lot of hotels and in all honesty I didn't think the breakfast was good value for the money. It was just OK. It is just convenient when you are in a large group.I would stay at the hotel again but skip breakfast.A round of 3 drinks, 2 gyn and tonics and a bacardi and coke just over £20.The location is a 5 minute walk to Lime Street train station and to Matthew street and Cavern area. There is paid parking at the hotel too.Couldn't have stayed anywhere better for a hen party weekend in Liverpool.

    At the Shankly for a hen do weekend. The package is amazing, dinner the first night was very good then a great cocktail class with Steve and Jordan. Also bottomless brunch on the Saturday with fantastic dancers. Breakfast was great both mornings and every single member of staff we spoke to was lovely and helpful. It’s a party hotel but didn’t notice any noise (apart from us) and everywhere is clean and the beds are comfy. What more do you need!

    Had a fabulous weekend at the Shankly Hotel celebrating a Hen Do. The staff were incredible and so accommodating. We enjoyed an amazing cocktail making experience with Steve and Jordan, bottomless Prosecco afternoon tea in the Bastion restaurant with Christine and her fantastic team. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. The party rooms we used and the food was brilliant. Thank you so much.

    We stayed in the Shankly to celebrate a 50th birthday. The hotel foyer is beautifully decorated. Our party of 6 stayed in room 413 Church. Very spacious room with enough beds to sleep 8 people. Room was lovely and beds were comfortable and we didn’t feel like we were tripping over each other. There was also a small kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom with rainfall shower and jacuzzi bath. Hotel is in a great central location, 5 mins from Lime Street station with most places we visited being around a ten minute walk. Staff were very pleasant and helpful taking group photos of us etc. We didn’t use the restaurant as we had pre booked elsewhere but it was set out beautifully. Loved our visit here and will be back again.

    We arrived at the hotel as a family with a young child. We had a very loud group of girls in the room next door when we went down to reception and told a gentlemen on there I was met by a very abrupt tone and was told that I should have read the terms and conditions of the hotel as this is classed as a party hotel… now I have read the hotel description on booking.com and the hotels write up and it’s doesn’t say at any point it’s a party hotel… I have also read the terms and conditions that the hotel get you to sign on arrival which does state any loud/music must kept to a minimum for the consideration of other hotel guests should any loud noise be detected we reserve the right to enter the accommodation to evaluate the situation without consent. The partying in the room went on until 1am with loud noise singing at the top of voices. To say the most I will never be returning to this hotel and people with family’s please stay clear of this hotel. If I could have given this hotel 0 stars I would have done
