AVOID! TRUST ME!!! URINE COVERED MATTRESS

    rating11 May 2026

NOT EVEN WORTH THE CHEAPNESS. Lock on door was broken can open it from the outside without a card. Windows didn’t shut properly so was so loud all night to the point you CANNOT sleep, delivery vans all through the night and then bin wagons emptying glass bins all through the night along the Main Street it was so so loud so for my 2nd night I asked to swap rooms, only to be told a small one was available so upon me stripping the bed of the original room I was shocked to see how bad the mattress was it was covered in the dirtiest stain I’d seen ever which looked like urine it covered the whole mattress and the fact I slept in that for the night made me feel physically sick. So I didn’t stay the 2nd night and had to go and get another hotel. Trust me people AVOID this hotel or at least fully check the bed before sleeping in it. *See photo

DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF!!! Trust me

    rating10 May 2026

DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF!!! This hotel is not worth the stress it’ll cause you, I know it’s cheap but PLEASE believe me it’s not even worth the cheap price. Booked 2 nights, was in room 101 the lock on the door is not fully secure can be opened from the outside without the card unless it’s locked from the inside so when you’re out the room anyone can get in. The windows don’t shut properly leaving a big gap all night long you can hear so much loud noise from outside. 1am was woken by delivery vans outside, then again just after falling back to sleep around 30 mins later. Then around 3am a big lorry emptying bin full of glass bottles right outside and then again the same thing at 4:30am another bin lorry further down the road, you will not sleep! **Then after being offered another room but smaller for the second night I decided to strip the bed of the first room to help the housekeeping to be greeted by the biggest dirtiest stain on the whole mattress that looks like dried wee or something similar it was nasty!! (I’ve tried including a photo) so after this I of course refused to stay and had to then go and find and pay for another hotel for my 2nd night here tonight. AVOID AVOID AVOID - Or if you don’t at least pull back the sheets and check the mattress!! They said it’ll be changed but I know for a fact it won’t so if you do go and get room 101 check the lock and mattress and windows to see if they’ve been fixed.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS (HEALTH HAZARD)

    rating18 Apr 2026

We payed £186 for two nights for our anniversary this weekend, and spent less than 10 minutes in the room after we arrived. The rooms are nothing like what are advertised on booking.com. When we arrived reception was empty and we waited a good ten minutes for someone to arrive. Once given our key we made our way up to our room through the maze of corridors which I'm certain are a fire risk. There's an awful smell throughout the building. We arrived at our room and the door didn't feel right when we tried to enter and soon realised it was because it looked like it had been kicked in so you actually couldn't even lock it and all the frame work was broken. Inside the room the sockets and the hairdryer hanging off the wall, the bathroom door sounded like it was going to shatter when you opened and closed it. The windows were rotting and wouldn't open, the curtains were mouldy, the aircon didn't work, I was scared of catching an STI from the bed. This room was completely unsafe and unfit for purpose. I spoke to the man on reception and he was apologetic and was in disbelief that the cleaning staff hadn't reported it, only to later find another review stating exactly the same things from Jan/Feb. I requested a refund which I was told would go back onto my card the same day but of course it didn't. Avoid at all costs. We didn't let it ruin our weekend though, and booked the Z Hotel which was around the same price and was a really nice stay. Marta Sobiecka, General Manager at Tune Hotel - Liverpool City Centre, responded to this review Dear Emma,Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, and happy belated anniversary. We are truly sorry for the experience you had and want to sincerely apologise for every aspect of your stay that fell short. The condition of the room you described is deeply concerning — a broken door that could not be locked, damaged electrics, mould, and non-functioning air conditioning are all issues that should never have been presented to any guest, let alone on such a special occasion. We are investigating this as a matter of urgency with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to understand how these faults were not reported and rectified.I am glad to hear that the refund was processed straight away.We are relieved your weekend was not entirely spoiled and we appreciate your honesty in sharing your experience. This feedback will be used to make serious improvements.Kind regards,Marta

Great location and great staff, especially Cameron!

    rating28 Mar 2026

Listen, I'm not gonna sit here and say this is an amazing hotel in terms of luxury and space. But for the price of it and how close it is to the busy bars of Liverpool its brilliant. If you're on a lads holiday/hen night and want some where you can put your head down, that's clean, and not too fancy or expensive then honestly it's a great hotel. ( if you don't mind the stairs) The staff were so friendly and the rooms, although small were clean, and had everything you need really, I had an issue with the sink when I first got in to the room (the plug was stuck) and it was fixed within 10 mins of asking reception, even the repair man was really sound.Cameron on reception at night/early AM hours is an absolute gentleman, and was great helping me when I lost my room key. (his hair is class also) I'll be sure to book again when I come back to Liverpool.John

Extremely disappointing stay - would not recommend

    rating15 Feb 2026

We stayed here over the weekend in Liverpool and unfortunately the experience was appalling from start to finish. When we first arrived, we were given a room that was completely unacceptable. The bathroom door was badly damaged, electrical sockets were hanging off the wall, and worst of all, the main door to the room did not even lock properly, which felt very unsafe. We asked to change rooms, but staff were initially very reluctant and complacent about helping us until we contacted Hotels.com. Only after that were we eventually moved.Sadly, the replacement room was not much better. The window had been boarded up, which again did not feel safe or appropriate for paying guests. The floors were also extremely dirty and looked like they had not been vacuumed at all, with visible mess left around the room.To make matters worse, the lift was broken during our stay, meaning we had to walk up to the 5th floor using the stairs multiple times, which was very inconvenient and not something we were warned about beforehand.Overall, this stay completely ruined what was meant to be a nice weekend away. The condition of the rooms, the lack of cleanliness, and the poor response from staff were all very disappointing. I have included photos to show the issues we encountered.I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.
