  Great spot!

  We had a great experience at this hotel. Room was spotless, service was excellent, and the breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. They even provided gluten free bread. The only challenge, which was not a surprise, is that we had a lot of stairs to get to our room. Staff helped though with our bags which was much appreciated. Location was great too - close to Paddington Station and lots of restaurants and cafes and even tourist shops nearby.

  Worst hotel ever

  Terrible. Horrible, dark room. Like a prison cell. Was told I had city view and balcony. Had basement room looking onto wall. Was told on line I would have room next to daughter. I was in basement. Daughter on top floor. Asked to be moved. Was told no. I feel cheated out of the £300 I paid. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Milk was sour for cereal in morning.

  ABC Hyde Park Hotel. So we arrived 2:30pm Thursday 26/6/25 we headed to reception which was a well ventilated room with self serve coffee or tea which you could make if you were there for a long wait but we were not, we were greeted immediately and allocated our room.Our room was in the building next door so we left the room with a member of staff and went next door. The door opened and we stepped in to an immaculate landing with rooms all clearly numbered we were given room number 8 which was on the first floor and suited us perfectly.The room was front facing with views across the road which was beautiful looking out these very tall windows every morning.The bed was a standard double bed, the bedding consisted of mattress protector, fitted sheet, loose sheet, covered duvet, a beautiful deep red runner with matching cushions and 4 hotel standard pillows. The bed was clean and very comfortable.Our room had a toilet, wash hand basin and shower which they had provided, shampoo, body wash and hand soap along with hand towels/hair towels and bath sheets all immaculate crisp white too.TV was wall mounted, wardrobe with space to store clothes and hang clothes too.Kettle, cups, spoons, saucers all crisp white too, hairdryer supplied and wall mounted, glasses for drinking from supplied also.On our bed when we arrived was a little folding breakfast table with two bottles of complimentary water, two biscuits and two pan au chocolat which we had for breakfast the following morning as we were late waking .Breakfast is served 7am~9am you can book this in advance or pay at reception.Our room was reasonably sized, it had one seat and one stool, large mirror, mirror in the bathroom and shaving mirror too. It definitely accommodated two people as it was intended and it also had a larg 3 speed wall mounted 3 speed fan which was an absolute bless in 28-30c heat.We spent 2 nights at The ABC Hyde park hotel and road noise was minimal, noise from other customers was absolutely fine and the place was busy.As a fair review I feel I must included the few downsides which were cosmetic, few broken tiles in the bathroom which had been repaired and did not affect its use whatsoever but they were obviously visible, bedroom flooring had some broken beading which could easily be repaired and the inability to further lock your door whilst you sleep was a little unsettling, the door could only be opened by a key but I feel there should be maybe a chain added to help make guests feel more secure at night. We sadly didn’t get breakfast both morning and that was our fault we had over slept, I wish we’d had more time to explore local restaurants and all the places recommended to us at check in, to also be able to review the breakfast a d serving staff.Room service is available during certain hours I think, towels refreshed daily, rubbish collected daily too.I’ve rated this 5 stars based on how much was paid for stay, cleanliness, friendliness, location and comfort. We have no complaints and we will be back to do a proper review as soon as we can book travel and we are happy to try out another room.Thanks ABC.K Webb and daughter.

  The staff is really nice and the rooms are clean and also very fresh bathrooms! Recommend if you’re to stay in London for a cheap price :) they make you feel welcomed.——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

  Checked in and told we were on the 3rd floor but the floors are double stairs so we were in fact 6 floors up with no lift. The floor was uneven and we felt we could have fallen through. The room is so small and cramped. Bathroom gross with no exhaust fan. Lumpy old pillows. Do not stay
