  Bruno, Syed, and Sonia were so kind and helpful on my recent stay at the Alhambra. The location couldn't be more convenient for getting around, including onward travel from London, and there is so much to see and do within walking distance.   Very good vibes for our stay in Alhambra Hotel

  Needed a hotel very close to St Pancras for early start on Eurostar.We could not have picked a better hotel. Whilst booking I mentioned we were OAP's and would prefer a ground floor room.We were allocated a room just off reception on ground floor, just perfect.Room was lovely and clean, not spacious but quite adequate for one night.The receptionist, Mahima, was so wonderfully welcoming and helpful, certainly a credit to this hotel which we would recommend. , General Manager at Alhambra Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,We are truly delighted by your kind and uplifting comments on TripAdvisor.   Excellent Location with Caveats

  Hotel’s location was excellent as it is very close to the train station and metro line. Note that we were assigned a room across the street from the reception office and that there are no lifts/elevators to assist if you are assigned an upper floor. Room was extremely small and the washroom was tighter than ones on cruise ships. My wife and I are small individuals and we could not both fit in to use the sink in the washroom. Very limited space to open both of our carrryons and walk in the room without shifting a chair or closing a carryon. The room got warm in the evening and we had to keep the window open to cool down the room. Luckily, we visited in early May as the room has no air conditioning. We did see a small portable fan sitting on top of the room’s safe located in the closet. We are sorry that you found the room size small. Unfortunately, and because of the great location in London, rooms tend not to be large but they are CLEAN and BRIGHT as most guests agree. These Georgian Style Houses are listed buildings by the local Government and therefore no Lifts or any major internal or external alterations are not permitted.   Overnight stay before catching the Eurostar

  A one night stay at the Alhambra Hotel. We arrived to a warm welcome and explanation of where our rooms were based (across the road). Please note that some floors are high and there is no lift. The staff were accommodating and put us on the lower ground and ground floor (1 room for elderly and the other room with a child (aged 5).   Convenient, clean and comfortable

  So convenient for the station, very clean and relatively quiet (was woken by guests in the room above leaving at 5am but that was hardly the hotels fault).
