    A return visit

    rating06 Jun 2026

This was a return visit, more than a few years apart.Walking through the doors, it felt familiar. Having travelled 28+ hours, I was grateful for having spent the extra money to guarantee an available room early. My room on the 4th floor had a view of the top of the London eye, which I appreciated for the first 2 nights. Unfortunately, the air conditioning stopped working at some stage. An initial inquiry to the front desk was ignored. Being an Aussie in London in May, I sucked it up, until the next afternoon, face red hot from the afternoon sun pouring into my room, I declared defeat. With another guest also complaining of a similar problem, I was moved to a lower floor, with a free drink at the bar offered as an apology. The room was indeed cooler, but definitely noisier (courtyard and breakfast room) - if you can, request a higher floor.Despite the inconvenience I still recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay in London. The breakfast here is recommended, and worth the price. The location, excellent. I walked almost everywhere, unless I took a bus. Both the tube and train station are nearby too. Petronela Razim, Guest Services / Front Office at Apex Temple Court Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your return visit and for sharing your feedback, we truly appreciate your loyalty. We’re delighted you enjoyed the early check-in, the London Eye view, our breakfast, and our central location. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the air conditioning and the delay in our response. This is not the standard we aim for, and your feedback has been shared with the team for improvement. While we’re glad we could relocate you and offer a gesture of goodwill, we understand the noise difference affected your stay.Thank you again for your recommendation and helpful comments. We hope to welcome you back for a more comfortable and seamless experience.Kind Regards,PetronelaNight Manager

    My New Favourite Hotel

    rating26 May 2026

Excellent stay, with upgraded room. Lovely calm and restful atmosphere. Best vegetarian b/fast. Hot and tasty. Husband enjoyed his full English as well. Room was an excellent standard. Temple district is away from the hustle and bustle and for us, a great location. As title suggests, this is our new favourite hotel (sister and husband agree also! ). Visit for family wedding

    rating25 May 2026

Second visit to hotel. Had had problems when paying at time of booking as system got stuck so could not pay and had to ring again. I used the " we won't have room cleaned and instead donate to charity ". This meant did not get refills of coffees etc. I rang once and got some delivered but the system needs refining ( as well as refills bins could be emptied). Petronela Razim, Guest Services / Front Office at Apex Temple Court Hotel, responded to this review Dear Anne,Thank you for your continued loyalty and for sharing your feedback. We apologise for the booking issue and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re also grateful you supported our “no room cleaning” initiative, but we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused with replenishments and waste collection. We will review this to improve clarity and consistency.Thank you again, and we hope to welcome you back for a smoother experience next time.Kind Regards,PetronelaNight Manager
