Great comfy apartment for a family

    rating28 Nov 2024

Great apartment, very clean, comfortable beds, lots of space for everyone and comfortable living room with seating for everyone. Smaller size kitchen but usable for preparing snacks/meals as necessary while on vacation. Friendly staff who helped with all questions.

    Bad Management communication

    rating19 Jul 2024

I stayed at the Ashburn Court Apartments in July a couple of weeks ago for business as I come to London for work once a month. The usual hotel i stay in close to my offices were sadly fully booked so opted for this one a few miles away asan alternative. The apartment itself was fine. Smelled a little damp but other than that clean and spacious. Bed was 2 twins put together and one side ofthe bed was lumpy with springs sticking out....anyway thats not the main comlaint. The first night was fine, however the second night I arrived back to the Apartment, my key card wouldnt work. The young man on reception who was young, but imexperienced in delaing with this kind of issue, tried to get me in. It tursn out the system on the door was faulty. So of course not his fault. However i waited there for almost 2 hours until just before midnight, until the Manager came around 11.15pm to try and help this guy get me in, to no avail!! So they then decided to put me in anotehr hotel just down the road to rest just before midnight.. I agreed to stay in the room, naturally with none of my items, no asthma medication, no toiletries. During all this I remained very polite and calm. I then went back to the apartment at 5am in the morning as had an early train back to Scotland at 7.30am. I was told by the recepionist i should contact the manager to obtain conpensation. SO my main conplaint here is....ive called, ive sent 2 e-mails to Ashburn Court Apartments, AND Booking.com, with NO REPLY!! I should not be expetced to pay for this evening, given i didnt have any comfort or my important medication, so struggled a bit in the evening without it. Ive had no apology sincem and Ive had no one contact me.Ive worked in Hospitality over 25 years so understand these things happen, and also understand that its not the guests fault either! I was beautifully polite and calm on th evening and next day...BUT knowing hospitality i know that its a given you offer a refund and an apology and to this ive had neither! So this is the reason i come to Trip Advisor to vent and hope for some kind of outcome from this as no one is rpelying to my advances through e-mail.Many Thanks

    Wonderful lifeline!

We arrived at Asburn Hotel and Booking.com had cancelled our hotel. Laura Sanchez, the hotel manager helped us get into the Apartments. Wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bath with full kitchen. Laura was exceptional and the facility was excellent. 1/2 the cost! We will stay in the apartments again. We are telling all our friends to stay there.

Will stay here again on next visit!

There was nothing I don’t like about my one bedroom apartment which was of a pretty good size. Location was excellent in a safe quiet neighbourhood . Gloucester Road Station and Waitrose supermarket were a few minutes walk away. A huge Sainsbury supermarket was opposite across Cromwell Road. The apartment was secured by digital lock access with a lift to my 5th floor unit. It was clean with all the amenities you need in an apartment even for longer term stay. I was surprised that a dish cloth, dish washing liquid and was sponge was provided for washing the odd pieces. An Italian, Lebanese and Iraqi restaurants were across at Cromwell Road. Bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a 24-hour concierge so it was also convenient if you need a delivery whether food or online shopping. The only negative was the absence of bedroom slippers. Having stayed at 3 different apartments in the area before, this was the best and I will stay here again the next time in London.

    Highly recommended place to stay!

This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at Ashburn Court Apartments and we stayed for over 2 weeks. We love that it is so convenient to Gloucester Road Underground station which has 3 Underground lines (Picadilly - Circle - District). It also is very close to Waitrose grocery. Eating is very expensive in London. Since these are apartments, you can save megabucks by eating in the apartment - at least breakfast. We actually ate quite a few meals there after a long day of being tourists. We could stroll through Waitrose and pick up something for supper. The apartments are also close to many restaurants and shops. Also, very friendly staff @ Ashburn Court!
