Beautiful Christening and first birthday party!

We had our baby's first birthday and Christening party at the Hotel's function room. Kaska and her team have done a brilliant job, they took care of every little detail, our guests and even the decorations! The food was lovely and our guests gave us very good compliments about it! In addition we were able to hire a bouncy castle for the kids in the garden, which they loved! All in all, I would highly recommend the hotel with Kaska and her events team, for weddings, birthday parties, Christenings and anniversaries!

We had the absolute best time the staff were absolutely amazing and the efforts made to help make the wedding reception a success was incredible perfect through and through from the food to the hospitality. The rooms were very good also. Thank you for making our celebration perfect and the happiest day of our lives! Would highly recommend the venue and the staff. Thank you x

Room was very dated and basic. Whole hotel was tired, mismatched and in need of renovation.Food in restaurant was poor quality and choice

My previous attempt at a review was blocked because I expressed concerns about the fact this hotel is only half open to the public. My parents stay was very uncomfortable because of the large number of people staying at the hotel who staying under a different scheme. There is a large amount of young men hanging around both here and at the local park. This is not a comfortable stay

Great hotel. We had the Banks suite (rooms named after 1966 England squad) There were a couple of maintenecessue swhich I will address directly but otherwise a great room, very comfortbae layout, albeit a standard doubele bed (we are used to a Kingsize), a very good modern TV with Smart faciliites, mirrors and lighting very good, plenty of sockets and for phone charging. The shower was a little weak and not over hot, Breakfast was exceelnt with personal orders for cooked taken by staff as opposed to mass cooked and kept warm scenario. Reception and breakfast staff very frienldy and helpful. A very personal approach. Would highly recommend.
