    We stayed at Blades Hotel last year and had a very nice experience overall. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay, which really made a positive difference.Housekeeping was also appreciated and helped keep everything comfortable during our visit. One thing we didn’t realize beforehand was that there were no elevators, so carrying luggage up five flights of stairs was definitely a surprise. That said, we took it as a little extra exercise, and the views from above were charming and worth it.The location was another big highlight. It’s very central and convenient, with train stations, metro stops, and public transportation all within easy walking distance. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and seeing the many nearby embassies from different countries, which gave the area a unique feel.The rooms were a bit older, but still perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there and appreciated the hospitality. A solid choice if you value friendly service and a great location.     What an amazing experience all the staff there were nice Vleda was super kind and good advice.Our bedrooms were ready early so we didn't waste time to enjoy our weekend. We were allowed to keep also the key so we don't have to disturb anybody.I really recommend this hotel Noreen Mallon, Owner at Blades Hotel, responded to this review Thank you so much for a wonderful review and we hope to welcome oyu back soon.

    This hotel is in a great location. Rooms are small, no air conditioning, staff is rude and not helpful; and they would not hold luggage for 2 hours. Noreen Mallon, Owner at Blades Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the majority of Businesses in England are not prepared for such hot weather and many have struggled with the heat. Our hotel is a prestigious listed Victorian building and therefore comes under very strict rules and regulations of the Westminster Council who do not allow for any changes to such buildings. We do provide 2 or 3 fans in each room. Our rooms are exactly as seen on our website and considered generous in size by well travelled and happy returning guests to London. Our staff are never rude to anyone - our staff reviews speak for themselves. We do not keep luggage on check-out for safety and security reasons and this is clearly explained to guests when they check-in.
