  Great service, but Room 403 has clear maintenance and safety issues

  Wonderful staff and location, but Room 403 needs urgent maintenance attentionWe recently stayed at The Brompton Hotel and want to give a huge thank you to the team—the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel is in a fantastic location, but unfortunately, our experience was let down by the condition of Room 403.Having spent 12 years working as a hotel maintenance supervisor, I tend to notice technical details, and there are several distinct issues in this room that require urgent attention: Electrical Safety Hazard: The double socket on the right-hand side of the bed is faulty. A plug has to be pulled halfway out just to secure a connection, which is a clear safety risk and needs immediate replacement. Recurring Lighting Issues: The bedside light on the left-hand side was completely non-functional. Disappointingly, this was also the case during a stay here two weeks earlier, meaning it was missed or ignored between visits. The built-in light on the bathroom mirror was also completely inoperable. Hot Water Delay: In the mornings, it took roughly 10 minutes of running the tap for hot water to finally arrive. Under standard Health & Safety guidelines, hot water should comfortably reach the tap within one minute.To top it off, on our final night, we were woken up at 1:20 AM by very loud music blasting from the adjacent room (Room 402).We like this hotel and truly appreciate the excellent front-line team, but management really needs to step up their room inspections and support their maintenance department to bring the room quality up to the standard of their service.

  Old Charm in the perfect location.

  Booked strickly on location and found a charming London hotel where the staff really cared about our stay. Harry at the front desk deserves special praise. He really provided personal courtesy, assisted with ride services and helping us understand after hour access. Easy walking to Hyde Park, Regent Park, The V & A Museum, and Royal Albert Hall, the four main attractions of our visit. In addition the neighborhood is full of lessor known landmarks that are still treasures.

  I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The location was excellent — less than two minutes from the nearest tube station, within a very short walk of the museums, Kensington gardens and the Royal Albert Hall, and surrounded by plenty of places to eat.Although the hotel doesn’t have a lift, I was already aware of this from reading previous reviews, so I packed light. Even so, the reception staff kindly offered to carry my luggage up to my room on the top floor, which was very much appreciated.All of the reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with a smile. The housekeeping staff were also excellent throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience in a fantastic location.

  The hotel is excellent ! Harry the manager was so welcoming and very helpful the hotel was in a perfect location very comfortable and clean and our room was lovely and very quiet too ! Excellent value for money too ! We will definately be back again soon ! Highly recommended ! Perfect location too for South Ken And the Royal Albert Hall ! 😃👍🏻

  the room was very nice and clean and modern. The staff was very friendly, especially Harry. The location was very safe and quiet. Would recommend this hotel.
