This hotel is situated at the heart of the London district of Chelsea, one of the most modern and culturally interesting parts of London. There are scores of shops and restaurants on the King’s Road, in South Kensington and in Knightsbridge. There are excellent links to the city centre, the West End and Waterloo as well as Heathrow (24 km) and Gatwick Airports (48 km).

Facility

The apartment hotel has 250 rooms and 200 apartments, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area.

Rooms

The rooms include central heating, a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven, as well as a complete set of utensils, is a standard feature. Other amenities available include a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis, beach volleyball and horse riding are available. With windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, billiards and aerobics. The wellness area's offerings provide pure relaxation and include a spa and a sauna. For a fee, massage treatments is also available.

    Nadia was extremely kind and helpful. She understood my requirements so well and went out of her way to make sure my stay was perfect. The entire team at Chelsea cloisters management - Natasha and Alina were so amazing as well. They made sure we were comfortable during our stay.     Beautiful apartment, lovely staff and useful kitchenette with washer.The staff gave us a lovely, renovated one bed apartment, complete with comfortable sofa bed, dining table and kitchenette, so we were able to eat in, wash our clothes and have separate sleeping areas in the heatwave. Lots of closet space in bedroom and a beautiful tiled bathroom.Glorious views from each room over the Chelsea roof tops - like Mary Poppins! Very handy location for walking and tube - District, Circle and Piccadilly lines from S Kensington. Handy mini supermarket close by.Only faults were the main mattress cover was not changed before our arrival (housekeeping changed this when we asked immediately), the wifi was very slow or didn’t work, and the lack of air conditioning in the incredible London heatwave made it difficult to sleep and almost unbearable during the day/evening without the curtains closed. Fans were provided, but they just pushed warm air around. Front lifts don’t work but rear lifts did so no major inconvenience to us.Staff were friendly and helpful.If the apartment had A/C it would definitely be a 5 star review from me.     Loved this spacious apartment. Clean and comfortable. About 6 min walk to South Kensington underground stop. There is a supermarket within a 2 min walk to get your supplies and the washing machine in the room was very handy. It was very quiet at night which was good for sleeping.     The location and the friendly staff were great. However, the technical issues of the apt complex create a lot of obstacles. We had to change our flat after one night due to a leakage downstairs. In our new flat, one morning the kettle, the toaster, and the refrigerator were not working due to an electrical fuse problem.The maintenance team is working very hard but unfortunately the building is old. Also, in an apt complex of 700 flats 3 elevators were not working, so all the tenants and staff were confined to two small elevators. They clean the rooms every other day (not a thorough one) and change sheets and towels every 6 days which is kind of long. The windows are very old so the cold air slips through them making yhe rooms cold at night. There is no air condition.     Great location, easy walk from tube stop and also easy to get there on tube from Heathrow. Friendly staff.Close to convenience shop. Room was clean and tidy but very small. Tiny kitchen but adequate. There was no tea/coffee etc supplied. The lift closest to our room was out for service so we had to use the back lifts which were far away from our room so a little inconvenient. There was a washing machine which was great. Our room had a lot of road noise.
