    Best Service Experience

    rating15 Jun 2026

Staying at this hotel was utter bliss !!! Not only was the hotel beautifully curated, our room, stylish, funky, with breathtaking views and the most comfortable mattress, but the thing that made our stay so special was the service. From the minute we arrived it was like the team were looking to anticipate and understand who we were, why we were there and how they could make our stay memorable , ultimately ensuring that we should feel totally spoiled. There was a wonderful man at the reception area , who when he realised it was a special family trip for myself and my daughter, went totally above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. This also happened when we used the roof top bar, it was like they were one step ahead and looking after us . I must call out a lovely girl who came to us as we went to sit in the rooftop bar and told us ‘there’s a more comfortable table, with a better view’ . A really special stay and would totally recommend xx

Ali and Tariq - Staff of the year!

    rating15 Jun 2026

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional staff at Tower Hill, particularly Ali and Tariq, who were absolutely amazing.Unfortunately, when we checked out, my mother accidentally left her medication in the room fridge. We did not realise until several hours later while we were at Heathrow Airport. This medication is essential for her health and wellbeing, and without it she would have been in a very serious situation. To make matters worse, we were due to leave London the following morning. We called CitizenM with very little hope that the medication would still be there and were already preparing to arrange an emergency doctor's appointment late that evening to obtain a replacement prescription. We spoke to Tariq, who immediately confirmed that the medication had been found and safely stored.Tariq was incredibly helpful, reassuring, and genuinely a joy to speak with. His sense of humour immediately put us at ease during what was a very stressful situation. He showed a remarkable level of care and went above and beyond to help us.We then spoke with Ali to arrange collection and delivery of the medication. Quite simply, Ali was second to none. He demonstrated outstanding care, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help. He took great care in ensuring the medication was handed to the correct driver, tracked the delivery, and kept everyone informed throughout the process. His communication skills were exceptional, and we are so grateful for everything he did.At one point, a driver cancelled on us and we were incorrectly charged. Ali once again showed incredible care by advising us to dispute the charge, which was ultimately successful. He was also an absolute pleasure to speak with throughout the entire experience.I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful these members of staff are, along with everyone else we encountered during our stay. We absolutely adore Ali and Tariq and wish them every success in the future. As dramatic as it may sound, they genuinely helped save my mother's life, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

A shocking experience at The Citizen Hotel Tower Hill

    rating04 Jun 2026

Friday June 5thI have been waiting to speak to a member of staff now for 50 minutes - still waiting My daughter, whoSuffers from the chronic condition Crohns Disease found herself desperately needing the toilet. She has a card but couldn’t access it quickly enough , She ran into Citizen M on Tower Hill and ran towards the toilets. She literally was desperate and in a state of distress She was physically prevented from entering the toilets and a male member of staff blocked her way on the stairs She pleaded with himShe told him she suffered from a dibilitating disease. She was forced to leave and the inevitable happened. She was allowed access in the nearby Double Tree Hotel clearly in tears and very distressed Irrespective of the fact that she wasn’t a guest the member of staff showed no compassion, understanding or appropriate training. To make matters worse I still cannot speak to a member of staff re this issue. She is a young woman dealing with a terrible condition and this experience has traumatised her , We will never stay at a CM hotel again

    Full service hotel

    rating01 Jun 2026

Located by Tower of London, directly by the Thames with the train directly below. Rooftop bar had amazing views of the city. There is also a bar and restaurant that served food and drink 24/7. The main lobby had plenty of seating and tables. There was never a time that we couldn’t sit and relax. There is also an outdoor patio that closed at 11. Breakfast is available for purchase as well and it’s quite good. The hotel is beautifully decorated and there are books everywhere to enjoy. Our room was just a little small, but we knew that based on previous reviews, the oversized bed and the view made up for that.

Stay here as a solo traveler - nothing else

    rating31 May 2026

Came for 3 nights on a work trip, probably a bit too long of a stay given how tiny these rooms are but it fit my needs. Stay here if you are not fussy and want a prime location. Do NOT stay here if you're a family or even couple (unless you're ok being in confined areas). Only real downside is some moron set the fire alarm off at 6 am with their hair dryer and work the whole hotel up who had to evacuate.Pros: Convenient location, walkable to central London for workCheap, good value for what you pay compared to other hotels @ 2x the costMarriott pointsCons:Rooms are smaller than an NYC studio. Almost like a prison cellBathroom/shower is so small you feel like you're in a submarine. If you need to go in the am like the rest of us, other person will hear everything (see couples note above)Overall I'd recommend staying here if you are a single dude and don't need space. Women might find amenities missing and nowhere nearly enough closet space.
