  Location brilliant for Buckingham PalaceNice and friendlyRooms are expensive Value 5 out 10No restaurant for evening meal. You could order in and eat in the room where they serve breakfastBreakfast is continental only, despite someone posting their omelettes were cooked to order.   Good hotel if you're watching Wicked

  A great little hotel l, just 5 minutes walk from Apollo Victoria (Wicked). Room was clean and perfectly usable for an overnight stay. Super shower! Breakfast was ok, continental with a few choices but perfectly adequate. Friendly staff, would recommend for a cheap break in Theatre Land.   After we'd booked we read some reviews and as a result almost cancelled our booking. So glad we didnt. We asked for a top floor room - it was really quiet and a good room for the price. No complaints at all. It was a continental breakfast but quite a good variety. Would stay there again.   Not the most comfiest of stays....

  Great location, staff were plesant, check-in was speedy, and room was ready on time. We were allocated a room on the ground floor round the back. Our room was down some stairs, and through a pointless door to our room door, strange layout. The room was compact, clean, had a hairdryer, iron and board, and tea & coffee making facilities, plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. I found the room stuffy and had the air con on in January! If your 'neighbour' above wakes before you then you're pretty likely to too, you can hear every footstep! Oh and not forgetting the noise from the underground. This place didn't really provide us with the most comfiest of stays and we're unlikely to return in future.   Beware basement rooms

  I stayed here for one night while working nearby in Victoria. I was given a basement room, which had a frosted window which didn't let in any real light. I could hear people walking past, trains on the nearby railway sounded like I was right under a flight path, and before 7am there was a lot of banging around and what sounded like rubbish bags being thrown around. It was very noisy. The heating unit was set high with no way of controlling it, but I didn't want to open the window being a lone female and my room then being accessible from the street.The hotel has a strange layout, and I had to consult the map on the back of the room door to remember where the lift was (inside the breakfast room) when leaving in the morning.Breakfast was okay for a continental but nothing special - bread/toast, two types of pastry, four cereals, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, ham, and a pancake maker. Juice, water, tea, and coffee.Staff were friendly.If you have limited budget this would be an okay place to stay, but next time I am in the area on business I will be going elsewhere.
