Convénient for Kings X and St Pancras

    rating31 May 2026

Small room, small 4 ft 6 bed up against 1 wall . Slightly below Street level, no lift ,down steep stairs but young reception staff were very helpful . Fortunately it was cool in the basement and a window with a fan light that opened. Clean and fine for 1 night. No breakfast but plenty of choice nearby and at the stations. Reasonable price for London.

    Great stop for travellers

    rating25 May 2026

Picked this hotel for its proximity to Kings Cross/St Pancras - just a few minutes’ walk. Perfectly good for a two-night stay. Room was up 30-plus stairs - no lift and a task with a suitcase, but desk staff offered to help. Staff were great generally. The room was small and had a single bed, which was all I needed. There are spaces where you can slide bags etc to keep floor clear. The ensuite was modern and did the job. The free daily cookie was welcome, and the complimentary bottles of still and fizzy water were a godsend as the temperature passed 34C. The cooling was by fan, which helped but struggled with the heat. It’s a very busy part of town so expect noise from outside if you’re facing the road, or if Arsenal have just won the league. Was very grateful to be able to leave my luggage in storage after checking out. Recommended as a stopover for travellers.

Useful to know this small hotel, given the location

    rating09 Mar 2026

Convenient for Kings Cross area in general, and much quieter than we expected. To say our room + bathroom was 'compact' would be an understatement, but it was very clean and perfectly adequate. There's no breakfast served, though, so one has to go out for that, and the nearby options aren't that great.

Exceptionally clean and efficient tourist hotel in King X.

    rating24 Nov 2025

I spend 4 nights in this hotel selected for location and reviews. This is one of the cleanest tourist hotel in London I have ever stayed at. The room is made up every day. Initially we were given a basement room, they are not pleasant, and immediately given the choice of a top floor room in the building at the back. This was perfect, room small but functional, lots of TV channels, new sockets, modern bathroom, good bed. Staff is friendly and available. THere is a patio which must be pleasant in warmer months. Issues such as lack of AC, building work on Crestfield St like in all of London, steep staircase and no lift, all of this is clearly indicated and should surprise nobody. All in all a very pleasant experience and we may come back. We recommend in any case.

Great location for trains to Heathrow

    rating27 Oct 2025

5 nights booked. There is a massive redevelopment of the block opposite the hotel. Construction noise from early morning to evening. Thankfully I was given a ground floor room in the hotel's annexe at the back. The room was next to the entry door so I heard voices, banging suitcases, etc frequently. Bought earplugs. No breakfast served. Staff were very nice. The room was basic, a little worse for wear but suited my holiday. The hotel is a few minutes walk from St Pancreas/Kings' Cross station with all its great cafes and public transport. The Piccadilly line goes straight from Heathrow to St Pancreas. I would stay there again and hopefully the huge complex opposite has been finished.
