    Our Go-To Hotel in Paddington

    This was our second stay at The Darlington Hyde Park and will not be our last. We are super happy with this hotel. It's extremely close to Paddington Station which makes it super easy to catch the Heathrow Express to LHR airport. The front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. We always drop our luggage off early. Your stay includes breakfast. The rooms are clean with television and nice shower. Its a cozy place - feels like you're a guest at someone's house. We haven't been aware of outside street noise. Finally, for the area, it's always a great price. Food-wise - we had a nice lunch at the Sawyer Arms, pizza from Santa Maria and delicious gelato a short walk away at Amorino on Edgeware Rd. Previously, we've eaten Italian food at Bizarro's which is also very good.Finally, every time we visit, we spend a lot of time walking at nearby Hyde Park; and if we're feeling ambitious, we walk to Regent Park or Holland Park.

    I had to cancel my reservation at The Darlington Hyde Park due to a serious medical issue that forced me to cancel my entire planned trip to the UK. Although I had booked a non-refundable Advance Purchase rate, Hotel Manager Dominika Gozdzik responded to my cancellation request with extraordinary compassion and kindness, processing a full refund without hesitation.In a world where policies often take precedence over people, The Darlington Hyde Park stood out for putting their guest's wellbeing first. That kind of grace and humanity is rare, and it has made me a loyal future guest. I cannot wait to stay there when I am able to return to London.

    Good hotel. Very good location. Easy to reach by public transport. A little old-fashioned though with carpets on the floor and two-tap washbasins. They charge 5 pounds per ítem when you leave your luggage there. I had never seen this anywhere else.     Perfect location!

    We have stayed at the Darlington before, quite a few years ago now, and were very pleased to find that everything was just as good as before. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfy and the breakfast was excellent! The location is perfect for us - just a short walk through the beautiful parks and you're in the centre of London. Also, it's very close to both Paddington and Lancaster Gate if you need to go further or the weather is bad.

    I will plan to stay at the Darlington again, next time I come to London. The room was well designed, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful.
