Location

The hotel is just 10 minutes’ walk from the historic ship The Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum. Central London can be reached in 15 minutes by train. The O2 Arena entertainment venue can be reached in 20 minutes via public transport, and Greenwich Market and observatory are just 5 minutes walking.

The hotel has a lift and features 145 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     A lovely place to stay in preparation for our wedding

    We stayed here with our family and friends for our wedding at Tudor Barn Eltham - we chose it as it's the official partner hotel of the wedding venue. The hotel was lovely, very clean and comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning as their was a heat wave at the time. We were given a lovely large room which was perfect for getting ready, and the staff were attentive and efficient. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that when we got back from our wedding they'd even decorated the room and left a bottle of prosecco for us! The only issue was with the booking process, specifically in terms of the link we were given to send to our guests to book rooms. The process was quite complicated as we had to anticipate how many of our guests would want to stay in the hotel with us before the link could be created, and several of our guests actually found that it was cheaper to book the same room but without using our link. It would have been simpler just to provide a discount code that we could send to our guests. However the enjoyment of our stay overall certainly made up for the complexities of the booking process.

    The location was perfect for a nice family trip to London for me and my daughter as it was residential and quiet but only a short stroll from the DLR as well as the lovely areas of Greenwich.The room was very small (even for one adult and one child) but was at the usual high Doubletree standard; clean and with all amenities we needed (the wardrobe would have been to small for more than a short trip though) and more. Towels were replaced everyday despite us leaving them on the hooks which seemed like a waste. The only minus point about the room would be the noise coming from (I assume) either the pipes or the aircon which was pretty much on a constant pattern until about 11pm.We had booked breakfast and were not disappointed as there was a full spread each morning and plenty of options including a pancake maker.Staff was lovely from start to finish and provided excellent service, helping m y daughter with breakfast selections and sneaking her extra cookies which she loved. All in all a great stay and reasonable value for money and will definitely high on our list when we come back to London :)

    Excellent location for all the Greenwich tourist attractions. Very quiet compared to other hotels near by. Great staff, welcoming and friendly. Would recommend.

    Another faultless experience. Checking in Andrea was a total pleasure. Linen, pillows and bed size perfect. Shower 10/10. Best bit still come to…. Breakfast. Selma was charming. Maybe the best sausages I have ever had on a hotel brekkie. Two types of bacon on offer. Pancake machine with real honeycomb.     Daughter took me here for Mother’s Day afternoon tea. It was dreadful. We were informed the virgin voucher had already been used! Had to pay again.
