    6.8/10

    rating09 Jun 2026

RoomThe room was clean, tidy, and well maintained. While it was smaller than rooms in many modern hotels, I enjoyed its cozy, slightly old-fashioned atmosphere and charming character. I stayed on the top floor in a front-facing room, which provided a lovely view and attractive windows. The wooden interior details and traditional design added to the hotel’s appeal. Some guests may find the decor dated, but I appreciated its unique style.AmenitiesThe bathroom was very clean, the bathtub was excellent, and the hot water worked perfectly. The heating worked well throughout my stay, and the room also had air conditioning available. The concierge service was a nice touch. The only inconvenience was the small lift; since my room was on the fifth floor, I had to carry my luggage from the fourth floor to the fifth.ValueI honestly don’t understand why this hotel has received so many two-star reviews. In my opinion, it’s a solid 6.8/10 and offers good value for the price. My main priorities when staying in another city are safety, comfort, quiet surroundings, and value for money, and this hotel met all of them.Overall ImpressionThe hotel was incredibly quiet, which was probably my favorite part of the stay. Overall, I had a comfortable experience in a clean, well-maintained hotel that delivered good value. I’m genuinely surprised by some of the harsh reviews because my stay was quite positive.

    Superb value

    rating15 Jan 2026

Personally, i had a very clean, comfortable room. Yes small, but very competitive price. The hotel has an interesting Malaysian feel to it, and would be very happy to stay here again. Thank you 🙏 Dan.P.S. I'm not just talking about this hotel, but is there a culture of expectation over economical hotels in Central London? I stay in a lot, and almost without exception they are fine. Friendly advice: if you want a Chain Hotel experience pay for it: maybe don't get superb value then complain it's not a 4 star.. Thank you so much 🙏

Decent hotel at a good price

    rating26 Sept 2025

I was looking for a non-expensive alternative at a decent location, which was not shabby. Cheap hotels are usually terrible in London. In some of them, it’s a nightmare to stay at.I was expecting anything good from this hotel as the price was incredibly low. Next to Earl’s Count underground station, I booked one of those ridiculous, small singles, which London hotels usually offer to the visitors. Closet size. Although the size was a bit oppressive, I wouldn’t mind coming back. It was really welcoming while you stay for a while with a perfect view to the main street. The hotel has been recently refurbished. It could be considerate as a low four stars hotel. Of course the hotel needs some attention in some cosmetic minor damages, but it’s clean, comfortable and even with slight touch of class. Wood pieces of furniture, marble countertops, design bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the linen fresh and clean. Air conditioning worked just fine. Besides a very friendly staff. Everything a honest cheap hotel should offer at an unbeatable price.

    Good!

    rating09 Aug 2025

It was actually pretty good! The location is superb (2 minutes walk from Earls Court) and the hotel was quite nice. The room is small for sure, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was functioning, the water is available hot and cold and the towel are changed everyday. I would personally choose again this hotel :)

    Bad Hotel

    rating06 Aug 2025

The hotel was horrible . The toilet can’t even flush . The room was super small . If you are finding a big and comfortable hotel don’t go here
