    Keep being Durrants

    rating31 Mar 2026

This is such a lovely hotel! Its proud independence is clear everywhere you look, from the fascinating decor to the warm and friendly staff. I’d far rather look at a quirky gloss-red ceiling while eating a delicious freshly cooked breakfast than cope with the sterile buffet offerings of a big chain. I’d happily sip a nightcap in the charming dog-friendly bar rather than navigate some massive preprepared cocktail list. Keep doing what you do Durrants - and thank you for being so understanding about my disability without making me feel in any way awkward. Such skills are rare and need to be cherished. Neesa Premji, Sales at Durrants Hotel, responded to this review Dear MaryMH41, Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review of your most recent stay with us. We are very proud to be one of the few family run hotels in London, so we are very glad this shone through and enhanced your experience with us. We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your breakfast with us in our newly refurbished dining room, your kind comments about the décor and your appreciation of our independent and distinctive style mean a lot to all of us here. Your compliments of our warm and friendly staff are especially appreciated. We aim to make all guests experience a welcoming and relaxing one, so its wonderful this came across during your stay with us. We are also deeply grateful regarding your comments on our approach to accessibility. I will be delighted to share your feedback and appreciation with all the staff here. Again, thank you for writing such a wonderful review. We all very much look forward to hopefully welcoming you back to Durrants soon. Kindest regards, Anna-Sophia TuttonManager Durrants Hotel

    Wonderful Hotel

    rating29 Mar 2026

My partner and I stayed at Durrants Hotel in February as we had a black tie event nearby. Unfortunately I fell in the bathroom and split my head open. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful in making sure I got to hospital and whilst we were there cleaned up the bathroom (which was looking like a scene from a Tarantino movie when we left!) They checked in with us on our return and brought us tea etc. which was a lovely gesture. The hotel is spotless and calm with spacious rooms and nice areas to sit. A particular thanks to the manager (I think), a Welsh lady (really sorry I forgot your name) who took care of us. All the staff were great and helpful. Highly recommend Durrants Hotel :) Neesa Premji, Sales at Durrants Hotel, responded to this review Dear Jackie W, Firstly, I hope you are feeling better and we are all sending our well wishes to you from London. Thank you for taking the time to write us such a lovely review. I am very glad to hear that our attentive staff made such a positive impression on both you and your partner under the unfortunate circumstances. We take great pride in ensuring every guest feels cared for so we are delighted this shone through during your stay especially after you returned from the hospital. Your comments regarding the calm and spacious rooms are also very much appreciated, I will be delighted to pass on your compliments to everyone here. It was my pleasure to assist and take care of you during your stay with us and if I can help you with anything else at all please do not hesitate to contact me at ast@durrantshotel.co.ukWe hope you are recovering well and we hope to welcome you back to the hotel whenever you are in London next. Kindest regards, Anna-Sophia Manager Durrants Hotel

My favorite hotel anywhere in the world

    rating26 Mar 2026

I travel to London fairly regularly for work, and I always insist that my boss book me at the Durrants. It's truly a home away from home and I'm enthralled by it! The location is perfect, a short walk from Oxford and Bond Streets. It's located in Marylebone Village, a quaint and cozy neighborhood, and it's a wonderful area for late evening strolls. The Durrants has several charming parlor rooms where one can sit and have tea (or something stronger), and I've had delightful conversations in these parlor rooms with fellow guests. The hotel exudes comfort, character and old world charm, and best of all, it's across the street from one of my fave museums, the Wallace Collection, so that every morning I can visit my favorite pictures at the Wallace and have breakfast at the Wallace's cafe. I'm looking forward to my next visit at the end of the year... my room is already booked! Neesa Premji, Sales at Durrants Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mr. Ivan B, Thank you for taking the time to write us such a wonderful review. We are truly honoured to be your favourite hotel and your home away from home, it means a great deal to all of us here. I’m glad to hear the location also enhances your stay with us, there are so many great places to go and visit around Marylebone, the Wallace collection as mentioned is especially beautiful. We are also glad to hear you enjoy the various lounge spaces we have to offer, I will be delighted to pass on your appreciation for the character and ambience of the hotel to everyone here, it does not go unnoticed. Again, thank you for writing such a kind review. We all very much look forward to seeing you at the end of the year and welcoming you back to your home from home. Pleasant Surprise!

    rating15 Feb 2026

This review refers to the Restaurant only, as we did not stay at the Hotel. We had parked our car right outside the Hotel as we had some business further down the road. On the way back we felt bit pecking and decided to try our luck and see the Restaurant in the Durrants Hotel. We were told that the Restaurant was fully booked for the evening, but they had one table for 2, which is really all we needed. The place was a little bit cramped, but we were told that this was not their usual restaurant, as this was under refurbishment and that they had temporily relocated the Restaurant into this samller place. But it was adequate. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was actually quite good, although a bit on the pricey side. We would go back if in the area next time. Neesa Premji, Sales at Durrants Hotel, responded to this review Dear HugoW_12,Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at our restaurant. We are so pleased you decided to stop by and it’s wonderful to hear that you found our restaurant team friendly and efficient, and you enjoyed your meal with us. I look forward to passing on your kind words to everyone. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back soon to the restaurant when you’re in the Marylebone area. Kind regards,Anna-Sophia TuttonManagerDurrants hotel
