Perfect base for a short stay!

Read some negative reviews and got a bit worried... needed not to be. We are in ground floor room with a window. Its perfect. Clean. Fairly spacious for what it is. Air con - a blessing in this heat! Big tv. Bright and airy and a lovely bathroom. It's clear when booking what the facilities are so I popped to reception for a cuppa. Staff helpful on the desk. Black sheep coffee shop opens 5.30am so we can pop there for breakfast. It's really a great base. Maybe some rooms are smaller or the ones without windows seem to get critiqued. We needed w twin and booked triple as its all that showed available so between us had a double and single bed. Very comfy. No issues at all. 👍👍👍

I booked the hotel through a third party and listed my adjustment needs in the special request box as the hotel did not have a disable room listed on the site however the site did state that it was wheelchair accessible and has no lift.There was no response from the hotel nor third party as to my request.Hotels have to respond to requests immediately and contact intending customers if they cannot meet their needs.This will allow issues to be resolved prior to customers visiting the hotel only to be disappointed.HJust like easy hotel, there are other hotels with misleading and misinformed description of their hotels.▪︎ The entrance had 3 flat steps and no ramp into the hotel.▪︎ The rooms are very small.▪︎ The price and services provided doss not justify value for money even though the staff argued it is.▪︎ The hotel did not include accessible rooms on their site but claimed they do have acceasible rooms. It should be listed for booking and automatically, customers will be informed if the room ia not available or not but to state the accessible rooms had all being booked as the reason for it not featuring on their site is not a reasonable and acceptable excuse. It just was not listed on the site.▪︎ The bathroom could hardly contain an adult.▪︎ The pressure of the sink taps in the bathroom needs adjusting as it was too high.▪︎ There are no kettles, tea bags or tea cups in the rooms. The only available means is through a coffee machine located close to the entrance. Teas are free otherwise customers are charged for making coffees and tea and it is not cheap.▪︎ The booking price discrepancy between the hotel site and third party booking site is less than £1 yet, staff requested for a £50 additional charges to upgarde a room listed at a lesser price on both the hotel site and third party booking site. I find this shady and not a honest way of conducting a business and being loyal to customers.▪︎ Added bonus is the air condition and an open window.▪︎ It is neat▪︎ There is no avenue to inform cleaners or staff the need for cleaning, not to be disturbed or sleeping notice by the door. I left a sticky note on the door.▪︎ Check out time is 10 a.m which is too early compared to 12 noon.Overall, it is too pricy.

Fulfilled my basic needs

Ok, the rooms are small, but for one night on business in London they are perfect. You go out for the evening,come back to sleep, get up in the morning and go about your day. If you want space and luxury, then this is not the place for you, but you need to pay for that in a big city. There are plenty of pubs and cafes/restaurants in the area, Victoria station, St James Park, Green Park, Buckingham Palace are all within a 15 min walk. Very pleasant welcome when I checked in, comfy bed (booked a Double room, I was on my own and average height, it wouldn't suit a large couple) , slept well. Basically it fulfilled my basic needs.

Helpful Staff & Great Location for a Short Stay

I stayed at the hotel for one night due to an early flight, and overall it was a good experience. The staff were very helpful—they assisted me with my bag down to the ground floor and made sure I knew I could come to reception in the morning if I needed anything. When I did, they were quick to help.The location is also very convenient, as it’s close to Victoria Station, which made getting around easy. A solid option for a short stay.

Came down for a couple of days for an exhibition. Location was great - easy to reach from Gatwick airport. Nice room, walkable (around 5 mins) from the station. Some nice restaurants around the corner. Friendly staff. I’m happy :-)
