Buses stop close to the hotel, to allow easy access to central London. The O2 Arena and Canary Wharf are both approximately 20 minutes' drive away. The Shard, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye are all just a short 5/10-minute bus journey away. The attractions surrounding Westminster Underground Station are a 10-minute journey from Elephant & Castle Station.

This is a great functional hotel at a really good price. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Mentioned a noise in the original room, not a problem let’s move you. Which bus should we catch, just walk up the street and jump on this number bus and you’ll be a short walk from Covent Garden.

The hotel is receiving some upgrades to the lobby/foyer area. They have a sign up highlighting the work which is fine - you expect that during the day there may be some noise associated. However, the hotel allowed workmen to continue banging hammers, drilling and even the use of a circular saw well beyond 9pm. The strange thing was there was minimal to no noise from 8pm-9pm - only once I’d went to bed at 9.20pm did the extremely loud circular become disturbing.This, coupled with the fact a guest from another room used their key on my door and gained entry showing a lack of security are the reasons for the poor score.

Perfect for a 2 night break

This was one of the cheapest hotels I found when booking for 2 children and one adult. It was good for us - a clean, modern room with plenty of space. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. It was half an hour walk to tower bridge and half hour to get to the imperial war museum. There are buses running from outside the hotel. We used the underground from Bermondsey, walked and did treat ourselves to a London cab on the last day. Not ideal for the natural history museum/science museum but if you are happy to spend £30 on a cab or navigate the buses - it’s definitely doable.

Room appeared to be newly refurbished, spotlessly clean with everything you might need including fridge, safe, ironing board wifi and charging plug. Triple glazing cut out street noise. Pleasant lighting too. Good value
