  We booked this apartment for its central location. The apartment we were allocated was in the basement which was quite disappointing, as very dull. Although the apartment was very clean we felt it was somewhat lacking in kitchen crockery etc. It could benefit from a coat stand or hooks in the hall, hand soap in the bathrooms and more clothes hangers in the bedrooms. (Only 2 per person was supplied) The beds were comfortable.

  We had the most wonderful stay at Fountain House. The location couldn’t have been better – waking up and strolling through Hyde Park every morning was an absolute delight.The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always quick to assist with even the smallest issues. Their warm hospitality really made us feel at home.Our apartment was so comfortable and beautifully kept – there were moments we almost didn’t want to leave for sightseeing!It was a truly special experience for our family, and when we return to London, there’s no question we’ll be staying here again.   Superb experience

  Our family of 4 had a really enjoyable experience at The Fountain House. It’s definitely been renovated and renewed recently as the photos from previous reviews are wildly different. It has modern and tasteful decor now. It’s a GREAT location, HELPFUL staff, CLEAN, and was the perfect sized space with living room, dining, kitchen, washer/dryer set! Highly recommend and will return!

  Horrible filthy and misleading

  Terrible experience, just checked in, booked in booking.com and the pictures are misleading... they say they are from the suite only but are displayed in the superior two bedroom. The carpet is filthy and dusty and the bathtub has small tony animals walking around, tried to het another room but they refused and tried to get my money back and also a no no... bad experience and bad service.   Touching Hyde park

  This was my second visit to the Fountain House apartments I chose this because of my pleasant memories of my earlier stay.The lobby is very small and has two Receptionists to help you with the check in .We had a 3 Bedroom apartment on the 1st floor. The lift is very small and I was happy being on the lower floor as It was convenient to use the staircase.The carpets in the passage area needed a change and seemed pretty rundown .Though the apartment itself was pretty large and clean having 2 bathrooms between 3 rooms and a very well done kitchen . The living room was spacious and comfortable .the bathrooms were new and well maintained .I loved the location , right opposite Lancaster gate station and Hyde park .Paddington is a brisk 10 minutes walk.. There are nice restaurants around a 10 minutes walk from the apartments too.The staff were very helpful and Housekeeping was very efficient.I would definitely repeat my stay here ,when visiting London .
