  I stayed here 4th March 2026 as the ExCeL centre was having a two-day show, and I was attending both days.Started off okay, as I telephoned ahead to say I'd be checking in late... and the hotel said that was fine... which it was when I arrived around 7pm.I stayed in Room 7, and when I opened the door the room was fairly spacious, ironing board (nice), and the nearby DLR trains were fairly quiet. First thing I noticed was some staining on the ceiling near the bathroom and in the bathroom - probably a water leak - which they could have patched up with a little paint and half an hour. But... what the hell. Then I noticed there was no remote control for the TV. Right... I'll ask for one when I go downstairs and have a drink and some food in the pub. Asked the lady at the reception desk for one, and she said one would be put in the room.Food was quite good. Bar service was excellent. Prices as normal for London. A good amount of screens showing the football. Had a great time. When I went back to the room at 10.00pm they gave me a bottle of water when I asked for some. Nice.Got back into the room, and no TV remote control. Ugh. Fine. I can deal without the TV. However, it was pretty cold that evening and there was no way to adjust the air conditioning from the remote control which desperately needed batteries... if indeed the air conditioning was actually working. A small radiator was in the bedroom too, but no amount of any button clicking turned that on either.Wasn't *that* cold, and the bed was comfy, so read a book and warmed up under the duvet. And that's when I noticed the noise from the bar downstairs was a little irritating. The door does a good job of keeping most of the noise out, but the bass does come through. Slightly annoying, but stopped around 11:00pm... and was proceeded by slamming of doors downstairs for ten minutes.Woke up in the morning. A bit cold, but a hot shower would sort that out. Nope. Hot water lasted all of 15 seconds and then was left with nothing but freezing cold water. Great. Left the hot tap running just in case but no joy after five minutes.Went downstairs for breakfast and was prepared for the "How was your stay, Sir?" when I handed the key in... but nothing. The bloke at the desk couldn't care less. Had they have asked, and I told them about what was wrong with the room, and had they apologised and offered me a free breakfast... I probably wouldn't be writing this huge review. But they couldn't. Care. Less.And that's the issue. They knew. THEY KNEW the air con / heating wasn't working. THEY KNEW the shower wasn't providing hot water. And yet they still took my money. With no apologies.So... my advice is go somewhere else. Pay a little more. Go to another hotel that actually gives a **** about their guests / customers. Because this place doesn't. I won't be staying there ever again, and I'll be telling everyone I know to avoid them.Oh - and the other tell-tale sign is that nobody from the hotel is responding to any of the complaints, or even the good reviews from Trip Advisor. That tells you everything about this place... Avoid.

  Arrived yesterday just before 8am and was allowed to park in the car park, 6 hours before check-in. Lady at the desk/bar very helpful. Arrived back at 2pm and explained I needed to leave before 4am next morning. The car park is locked from 10:30pm and reopens at 7:30am, however I was told to see the manager that evening (who was lovely btw). Manager arranged the car park so I was able to get my car out and get home before work. Room was beautiful and spacious, we was in room 15 on top floor and it was comfy and came with everything we needed. It was clean and tidy and came with a fan in the room which was a game changer for me as I hate sleeping warm. Bed was super comfy.Value for money wise was so good, I would have happily paid more for a nights stay!

  For the size of the bar there is usually a queue even when the bar isn’t busy.Beer prices are ok accept Neck Oil which is £7.75 a pint, nearly a £1.00 more than the Birra Moretti!I had the steak, medium with chunky chips and grilled tomato.Steak was more medium rare and tough going, didn’t send back as would come back well done.Generally a lovely pub and relaxed atmosphere.

  Lovely lady helped us out but the place needs a big refurbishment. The tele did not work. The shower dripping all night never slepted. The y did offer free breakfast because of tv issue
