This simple hotel is located in Compton Place, close to London's City district. Given the excellent tube connections, it is very easy to reach the most popular tourist attractions, as well as the numerous shopping centres and other entertainment venues.

Facility

214 rooms, including 42 single rooms and 42 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hostel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hostel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Amazing experience, Staff was extraordinary

    There was a small mismatch with my room and bed, had to go upstairs 3 times and back to reception, but they were very apologetic, gave me a free breakfast voucher and the room I got assigned was actually empty until the last day 😇 Also had fun at the dancefloor, drink prices are okay and you can choose you own music through spotify jamSelf-Checkin assigned me the wrong bunk, paid for bottom, got assigned top - generally recommend checking in with staff

    Pros:The bed was incredibly comfortable with fresh, clean bedding.The location was fantastic, placing us right next to all the local amenities and just a convenient ten-minute walk from the underground station.Having stayed in some awful hostels before, this experience completely changed my mind thanks to the very friendly staff and reasonably priced bar.Cons:Three out of the four showers on my floor were out of order, forcing me to go to another floor just to get a shower.The changing cubicles lacked any seating areas or hooks to safely place your belongings, making getting ready quite difficult and inconvenient.SummaryOverall, this stay completely changed my perspective on hostels and earned a solid 4 out of 5 stars thanks to its fantastic location, exceptionally comfortable beds, friendly staff, and great bar prices. The only real downside was the maintenance layout on my floor, which required a trip to another level for a shower and a bit of juggling with my bags in the changing cubicles.     Great location but hot in a heatwave

    Lovely to see support for people with mobility issues and a lift available. Great breakfast and excellent location. Very hot in a heatwave though with windows that hardly open. Quite small amount of bathrooms available for a large amount of rooms.     Overall a poor experience

    Had stayed here over the weekend to watch the Arsenal match and parade. Although it was great for Arsenal fans to connect from all over the world here, I was disappointed with how warm the rooms were. The rooms were very small for 4 people with no AC so it was quite difficult to sleep at night. Another bad thing about my stay was some staff members came across as rude (especially the man who was working at the front door and reception, think he may be a manager) and I wouldn’t want to come back here due to this as it’s not how customers should be treated.     Broken Shower and Persistent Sewage Smell

    Very disappointing stay. The shower temperature control was broken, so the water was constantly too hot and could not be adjusted. More importantly, there was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom drain. The odor was not limited to the bathroom—it spread into the room and was noticeable throughout the stay. It made the room feel unpleasant and significantly affected the overall comfort of the accommodation.
