  What a dump! They should use some of the money they charge to fix the place. It has potential but they pay absolutely no attention to cleanliness. The furniture needs to change; everything is old and shows disgusting wear and tear. Do better and fix the place! At the rate you charge, people deserve better! Not even a proper mirror in the bathroom box (be prepared to have one box with shower, toilet, and basin all in one). I have never experienced anything like this. The staff was nice & helpful, but the place is a dump!

  As I hadn't paid a huge amount of money, my expectations weren't high and I was expecting the usual no frills, basic room with a few niggles here and there - perhaps a wonky curtain rail, similar to other B&Bs I've stayed at in London. The hotel turned out much worse than expected. The rooms were filthy and I wondered if they had been cleaned at all as there were grubby stains everywhere and globs of blue toothpaste in the sink likely spat out by the last guest. The toilet and sink are actually in the shower cubicle and I had to leave the door open to pee as the room was so claustrophobia inducing. The sink had a huge crack in it and had been fixed by a botched job, it took all my strength to turn the cold tap off as it's not secure. The kettle looked unclean so declined the tea and coffee facilities. Switches hanging off the wall and grubby curtains. My room was in the basement overlooking piled up bin bags. The shower was freezing and it took a good few minutes, I would go as far to say 10 minutes and suddenly the water became scalding hot, it was a good few more minutes before I could find the right temperature to get under. As there is too little water pressure, it can take some time to rinse your hair - I can't imagine how much water is wasted. Drying my hair did not go smoothly - I turned the flimsy hair dryer on and it set on fire and thick black smoke filled the room. Thankfully, the fire went out quickly and I managed to open the window before the fire alarm went off, although I now wonder if the fire alarm works at all. Breakfast was basic, a jar of Nescafé on the table, toast and cereal, but not too bad. The only positives are that the bed sheets appeared clean, plenty of drawers and a wardrobe, staff were so friendly that I feel bad giving a bad review, and the location is excellent. A few reviews mention noise levels but for central London it was surprisingly quiet in the evening and I had no issues sleeping. I wouldn't stay there again.

  Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

  This is the most disgraceful and disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The building is a converted townhouse that is a mish mash of rooms across several floors. We made the mistake of booking here and were located on one of the upper floors. The room was dirty, unkempt and lacking in facilities. The bathroom was a joke, it looked like something you’d see in a caravan or on a trawler in the North Sea. The bed was uncomfortable and situated right next to a radiator that was impossible to alter the temperature of. Didn’t stay for breakfast, couldn’t wait to escape what is truly a despicable hotel.

  Easily THE worst place I've booked. It makes the Premier Inn look like The Ritz. Room reeked of sweat and grease, can't imagine it's been cleaned in years. Honestly felt dirty, didn't want to touch anything. "Bag storage" = put it in the kitchen.

  WARNING look at the photos, worst hotel I ever stayed in. Got bedbugs too so watch it.The kettle had spoon burnmarks, probably from drug-use needles where they boil them. Horrible place I had to leave after one night and couldn’t shower because on stains everywhere.
