Location

The hotel is located in London, 9-minutes' walk from the ExCel London exhibition centre, Hampton By Hilton London Docklands. It’s a quick journey to the hustle and bustle of Central London and attractions such as The O2 Arena, Canary Wharf and Stratford City. The hotel lies a 3-minute walk to the Royal Albert DLR Station and 1 mile from London City Airport.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing.     No pilow available at the hotel!

    The response we received from the reception after requesting a pillow for the extra bed placed in our room during our stay as a family of three was truly unforgettable: “The hotel has no pillows!”When I said that I could not accept such an answer, the guy at the reception responded rudely by saying “Good night to you” and hanging up the phone on my face. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable.     Received a parking fine even though I'd paid

    Hotel is perfectly adequate with good access to ExCeL, and amenities are all as expected and with good staff.However I don't expect to be hit with a parking fine a week later, when I have paid for parking for the duration of my stay.If you're going to get a parking company to manage your car park. Please make sure they manage it properly and don't harass honest paying customers!     The hotel is poor, with carpet in all the rooms (I saw 2 of them). The location is good only if your visit is only to Excel Convention Centre. The thing I disliked most was that they do not inform clients if something has been left in the room. They probably wait until the client realises; in my case, my colleague could eventually retrieve the wallet, but not the cigarettes!They didn't even write an apologetic email.     I was welcomed when I checked in and after a long trip it felt relaxing. I had a lovely dinner. The cheese burger was really good and the buffalo wings were nice and spicy.     Unclean, disgusting, vile

    This was one of the most disgusting hotel experiences.My original room was already unacceptable — the sofa was covered in stains, so I asked to move. I was told I’d been “upgraded”, but the second room was even worse.Instead of a sofa, there was a filthy chair and footstool, both covered in marks, with visible water stains. The sink tap looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all and had residue on it that genuinely looked like spit. It was revolting.It got worse when I opened the wardrobe and found someone else’s hoodie left behind — clearly the room hadn’t even been properly checked, let alone cleaned.Then the final straw: when I got into bed, the fitted sheet had a mark on it. When I looked closer, it was a bright red stain that looked like blood, with hair stuck to it. Absolutely disgusting. I had to have the sheets changed at midnight.The entire stay felt unhygienic, neglected, and frankly unacceptable. I would never stay here again.
