  I see why breakfast is included "for free"......

  Whoever is in charge of food and beverage here needs to go straight back to catering college, or better still should stay in a £30 B & B where you get breakfast freshly cooked to order to see how easy it is to serve an enjoyable morning meal. The overall standard of the food, considering the name "Hilton" is over the door really lets the brand down. The 'dinner' menu reads like a list of reconstituted TV dinners. The cooked section of the buffet breakfast is abysmal. Why put a gallon of baked beans and 50 rashers of bacon under heat lamps when there are very few guests in the hotel? The 'fried eggs' take top prize for worst hotel food offered by an international chain. They are cooked in moulds, presumably in an oven, and so quickly take on a texture similar to that of a lorry tyre after going cold on the tray at the serving pass. I hate to think how much food ends up in the bin during and after service..... On a less critical note I had one of the best nights' sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The mattress was super comfy (if I knew the make I would probably buy one) and the sound insulation is great considering you can see into the windows of the planes landing and taking off a few hundred yards away. I only faintly heard one large suitcase being rolled along the corridor outside the room. The bathroom was clean and the towels soft. The soaps and lotions were OK.The staff are professionally friendly and eager to help.I will be staying here again upon my return to Luton Airport. I sincerely hope I will not be refused a poached egg.If the management choose to respond then unfortunately they are only able to make excuses or promises of 'better in the future' however as we all know these are the stock answers to such a review.   Convenient Base for the night

  I was a bit sceptical when I booked due to some of the reviews, but all in all this was a good hotel. Lovely little twin room with a working TV and what we needed for the evening. We arrived late and the bar was full, so we didn’t have a drink at the bar as it was too busy. Nice shower and toilet, although the plug did get stuck in the sink so that was a little annoying. Easy to get to, easy parking and easy check in - I parked/stayed here the night before a very early flight. A small breakfast carry out consisting of fruit, pastry, yoghurt and a juice was provided in the morning as it was so early. The bus stop is just across the road and comes every 20 mins or so.   Great airport hotel

  Excellent location near to DART monorail to the airport. Good sized clean room with everything you need. Food was tasty and hot. They provided a cold packed breakfast to take with us as we had a very early flight. Good parking availability. Will use again.   Very disappointed with Restaurant

  The most dire cheese? and jacket potato - ever???We are staying overnight tonight...and have just been to the on site restaurant and whilst my husband's burger was fine....I have to say I have never tasted a jacket potato with mozzarella before - the cheese had absolutely no flavour whatsoever...and it was supposedly "a special" ...a special because it was "unbelievably awful" I would suggest. It was replaced with another jacket potato with a miserable portion of grana pedana ( slightly more flavour and I say that advisedly.We were offered dessert to compensate. Quite frankly, all I wanted was a tasty jacket served with a tasty cheddar - not too much to ask for £8.50. I would advise that you need to get it right with simple food first for main course first....before you offer an ice cream to make up for it.Throughout the experience the staff were sympathetic and helpful - and I do not blame them in the least for poor ingredients.Hilton you should be ashamed.   A good choice ahead of an early flight

  A very convenient location right next to Luton Airport Parkway station and the DART for easy access to the airport.The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the inclusive breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of items which were well prepared and nicely presented.Overall, a good choice for a night before an early flight.
