    Good overall stay.

    rating14 Jun 2026

Overall a good stay at this hotel, celebrating a special birthday and watching tennis at Queen's. The room was fine with everything we needed, and we found it quiet, even though it was at the front of the hotel facing the road. The bathroom needs updating, thye hand held shower is not what is expected these days in a 4 star hotel. The food in the bar is excellent, with very large portions. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast had a good choice of food, but the hot food looked and tasted as though it had been sitting there for hours.

    Frustrated

    rating01 Jun 2026

I rarely leave negative hotel reviews, but this was easily the worst Hilton experience I've had.The rooms are incredibly small—smaller than some cruise ship cabins. The bathroom was tiny, there were no hand towels provided, the pillows were flat and uncomfortable, and there weren't any convenient power outlets near the bed.The Wi-Fi was also unreliable. Normally that wouldn't be a major issue for me, but my son is autistic and depends on a stable internet connection for comfort and routine while traveling.Overall, the room felt poorly designed and lacked many of the basic conveniences I expect from a Hilton property. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again. Not what we expect from Hilton

    rating31 May 2026

We arrived early 2pm, and our room wasn’t ready. Fair enough you would say and we agreed. We did notice the 2 couples either side of us were checked in early but hey that’s how luck goes. We told them we would have lunch in the hotel bar and be back at 3.The food was lovely, we had 3 starters between us and was surprised at how much there was. Definitely good value for money. Went back at 3 to be told our room would be another 30 minutes! We asked why, (considering they knew we would be back) and were told that they had decided I needed an accessible room as I used a mobility scooter. We deliberately DONT get accessible rooms as I can manage around the room and don’t want to take it from someone who really needs it. We were asked at 2 if we wanted an accessible room and we said no, just a standard double. But no, they had decided I needed something more. Told them it was not their place to tell me what I needed, just give us the standard double we had booked. After telling us there were “no other rooms in the hotel ready” a manager miraculously found one on floor 6. And what a room! Tired, minuscule bathroom and just enough room to get around the bed. The furnishings looked old and tatty, the sink tap wasn’t cleaned properly and you couldn’t fill the sink to wash as the plug didn’t fit and the handle to lift the plug was also broken and missing the knob. The tray of coffees, teas kettle etc were on top of the mini fridge but there was no plug. The kettle cannot be taken from the tray so we had to lift the whole lot to the vanity area above to boil the kettle. And speaking of plugs, there are no sockets by the bed for laptop/phone charging, instead it’s on the other side of the admittedly small room by the window that looks out over roof tops and into what I assume are other guest rooms. The wardrobes appear to have not been updated in a considerable time, the drawers were difficult to open, and were decorated in bright orange when the rooms walls were lilac. This is not what I expected from a Hilton hotel. A basic room is £160 per night and is most definitely NOT value for money. Quite frankly I’ve stayed in Premier Inns that were better than this!!! Budget Hotel. Poor standard. Not a.Luxury hotel

    rating18 May 2026

Rooms are tiny and outdated. Lamps broken or really old. Furniture with marks all over. Very poor standard of Hilton. Even the suites are uncomfortable. I stayed at their junior suite and it was a standard double room divided by a wall and a small sofa bed with no place to relax or walk around. This is a budget Hilton , please dont book it if you are looking for a luxurious feel . Breakfast is really good and staff are okay . Staff usually humour you but they still do whatever they want..
