This friendly hotel is located in the Apsley area of Hemel Hempstead and lies beside the A4251, affording easy access to junction 20 of the M25 motorway and junction 8 of the M1 motorway via the A414. Links to the public transport network can be reached in a few minutes on foot, with which guests can reach central London and its countless shops and entertainment venues in around 16 km. The nearest railway station is 11 km away (10 minutes) and Luton Airport is 22 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has single rooms and 116 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Everything went right from the start.We checked the car in as we had a train to catch.The lovely lady was superb .

    We checked the car in on the car park,as we had a train to catch.The lady on reception was friendly and efficient.The hotel is really close to the train station a big plus and why we’ve stayed before.Plus the nearby pubs,restaurants and canal are also a plus.We returned later in the day (after our trip to Wembley)The guy checking us into our rooms was also great.Really good at his job.The rooms as always were clean and comfortable.Breakfast on the Bank holiday Monday was good.The young staff were friendly and were working really hard as the restaurant was busy.There was a bit of a wait for bacon but nothing too dramatic.Everything was restocked as it was required.Well done everyone.The friendly lady on reception was back on duty.     Good hotel, shame about the breakfast

    Stayed here many times over the years. Always get what you pay for in HIExpress and cant really complain.Rooms clean and had everything you need. Bed little firm for me but thats my preference.Sadly breakfast up to usual standard of being inedible. If you want continental breakfast you're fine. The cooked offering was awful and pushed away after only one bite.     Great staff, beautiful room and ideally located.Checked in by Saeed who was excellent, looked by another guy whose name we didn’t get and very pleased with the room made our 1 night stay enjoyable. A decent pub by the canal which is a 30 second walk and decent seating bar in the hotel itself. Only negative was the breakfast which came free with the room, a buffet style breakfast was dry, warm and not the best tbh but we would definitely stay here again if in the area.     Clean comfortable rooms staff very nice. Only 3 stars is for the breakfast, at £ 130 the breakfast was cold croissants were over cooked burned in fact . If you’re going to advertise a complementary breakfast maybe just do a continental one ie ham cheeses fresh fruit.     Brilliant hotel .Staff were so helpful and polite and chatty. Everything was so clean . Everthing was available there for what we needed for the stay.
