The hotel is located close to Chelsea and Fulham football stadiums and Queen's Club. The hotel's location close to the main route between Central London and London - Heathrow Airport ensures convenience for both of these destinations. The closest station is Wandsworth Town train station, which takes travellers to Waterloo and Central London in just 10 min. East Putney tube station is approx 10 min by taxi, which gives access to the District Line and places such as Earl's Court, Olympia, Chelsea, Fulham and Knightsbridge.

148 non-smoking rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Great hotel walking distance to train station. Rooms spotless breakfast everything you would want. Very quiet with nice walk along the Thames. Must single out Chris on reception nothing too much bother all his directions spot on and got us to all the places we needed to be . All in all a great experience.     Great hotel but check the booking company

    Very nice hotel. Check in via machine was complicated so I gave up and queued at the desk. Food was great. Overall the hotel was a success. Only two things spoiled the experience. Beware of the company GUESTRESERVATIONS.COM. I was fooled into thinking I was booking with the hotel directly, when the confirmation email arrived I was overcharged. What should’ve been £162.00 was £226.00 various charges had been added that I wasn’t made aware of also (in the small print) booking was non refundable!     It may not be in the Centre, but the City’s not far away!

    Had to be in London for a morning appointment. Looked at hotels in the centre, but needed a triple gin to cope with the prices - even at the well known chain hotels Wandsworth was a good choice for us, as our appointment was within easy reach. The Wandsworth H.I. Express was within walking distance ( 20 mins) of Clapham Junction, though a mere hop from Wandsworth Town station, so access to the City centre would have been easy (apart from the Tube strike) . However there several buses to the centre of the City.Quiet, immaculately clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed…. But that is the only aspect where one of the well known competitor chain of hotels can pip this Holiday Inn Express - as they have king size beds as standard. A king size bed allows for a better nights sleep, particularly if one of you fidgets!!!Good inclusive buffet breakfast, with a range of hot and cold dishes. Very well priced, especially for London.     This was a great base for a London stay. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk and there is an M&S food & Waitrose on the door step. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. Breakfast was a little crazy but free so expected.
