    Starving on the way to London

    Was told when I first arrived by Chandra that breakfast was included. Later when I came back to actually check in, the manager, Gagan, told me I was not entitled to breakfast unless I paid. When I checked out I was told by Chandra that I should have received my breakfast vouchers. Everyone needs to get on the same page at this hotel. Wound up starving all the way to London because my family ran out of time to catch a bus. Otherwise, the hotel was serviceable for a night's stay to visit the Warner Brothers' Harry Potter experience.

    Spent two nights at this hotel, central location less than 5 min walk to train station and bus terminal, where you can catch the free shuttle bus to Harry Potter studios.Room was clean and well laid out, air con was icy cold was needed as temperature outside just under 30c also in the cupboard was a large fan plus radiator.Breakfast buffet was well stocked and food plentiful and tasty! There’s also an Indian restaurant as part of the hotel which offered tasty foods but other side of restaurant offers usual pub fayre.During my stay they are currently developing space outside the hotel for outside tables which will be good.Staff where all very pleasant throughout, there’s a small selection of crisps/chocolates/juices at the bar but obviously expensive so bear this in mind if travelling with family and stock up or use a delivery service.

    I had a very good stay at Holiday Inn London Watford Junction. The hotel is in a great location, close to Watford Junction station, which makes it very convenient for travelling into London or around the local area.The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming from arrival, and the check-in process was smooth. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were practical.Breakfast had a good selection, and the restaurant and bar area felt relaxed and well maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend this hotel for both business and leisure guests visiting Watford.

    Some issues to say the slightest

    Stayed here again as attending another Wembley Event & was fine last year.This time not so good..Parked the car, went to the event and came back & checked in.Booked two rooms & was in 325 & 327.. Threw luggage in the room then went to the bar whilst the Son & his Girlfriend were getting ready. Ordered a pint of Coors from the bar & when you know it’s not right.. tasted of vinegar / cleaning fluid about a qtr way down took it back & said that’s not right.. ordered something else & had the payment machine shoved in my direction..Ignoring that we went to Watford high street for drinks & food. Came back & went to bed. My room was fine however room 327 had a bluebottle fly infestation so unknown to me they had to move rooms.Got up in the morning & did not need to set my alarm as Hotel has building work going on at the front which was not mentioned at the time of booking. 7am the noise started..There was also work on the roof / fire alarm systems and the water pressure from the shower was as dismal as the noise outside..Dropped the cards in the checkout box on the way out as they were talking about software could not be upgraded on the Fire Alarm panel or something and no interaction was everything ok?As a long standing IHG member would never stop there again and lodging a formal complaint to IHG.     Comfortable and Welcoming Stay

    This hotel was very comfortable to stay in. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very close to a local pub and to the train station if travelling into London like we did. The staff are very friendly and welcoming into the hotel.Breakfast was very good with a very good selection of foods available.The parking is easy, around the back of the hotel and seems to be very secure
