  Me and my partner had a very small room behind the reception, we barely slept because of the constant noise and banging of doors all night. The room is very out-dated and looks like someone had smoked in it for years. Not attractive. I was too scared to use the shower because the limescale on the shower heads was disgusting and also the kettle had limescale too. The bed was like laying on bricks and you only get one pillow that felt like no pillow. We also had to leave early for our train and felt like the breakfast time should have been earlier as there was someone at reception yet the breakfast area was closed. Also the fact that I’ve never been in a hotel that charges for everything from towels, bedding etc wouldn’t stay here again! The only positive is that the location was five minutes from Paddington station.

  Simple but comfortable and friendly staff

  I stayed here with my Mum & Daughter while attending a Coldplay concert. We arrived earlier than check-in and were greeted by the lovely Andrea (I think that was her name) and we were able to get in our room early.The hotel is in a lovely quiet tree lined street in Paddington area.The room itself was on the 2nd floor, there’s no lift but we only had small rucksacks with us plus the exercise doesn’t do any harm 😜 It was very basic and small but it was clean and comfortable (apart from being really hot with no air con but there was a fab). The shower room was very small and touring caravan like materials but it did what it needed to.The price included a continental breakfast. Most of all Andrea (apologies if wrong name) was so nice, friendly and helpful. We had such a laugh with her. I would stay here again.

  Reception staff and security are a waste of space Absolutely the worst hotel and worst holiday I’ve ever had if you want robbed by staff and to hardly get your room cleaned and never get towel come to this hotel it’s absolutely HELL ON EARTH!!!!!!

  Rude shouty receptionist/waitress.

  The receptionist/waitress was rude to us on more than one occasion and we were made to feel like a hindrance rather than paying guests. We were berated in front of other guests like naughty schoolchildren, which was embarrassing. I’m not quite sure how constantly shouting at your guests is good for business - we won’t be back!

  Great value. Very clean and tidy. Quality bedding, comfortable mattress. The bathrooms are very tiny, but that's to be expected. You may want to bring a splitter if you have multiple devices to charge at one time. We were there in late September and any earlier in the summer it would've been too hot in the room. I would consider this a three season hotel. It was nice having a window for fresh air, but the traffic noise is pretty constant. All of the staff was attentive, courteous and well informed. Continental breakfast was high-quality. Overall a very nice experience.
