    Avoid!!!

    rating07 May 2026

Decent room, I've stayed for 4 months there. The main problem here is the parking lot. I have received in those 4 months a total of 15 parking tickets, as the company that handle the parking is a 3rd party. They did cancelled those after a bit of a hassle, but a month after I left I received another ticket, £100. A ticket for 20th of Dec 2025, issued on 20th of March, imagine. I called reception and let them know, they said they will cancel it. They did not, and never picked my calls or emails ever again. This was not an isolated issue, as I was going back and forth to reception to cancel the tickets, there were always a stack of tickets on the counter for reception to process it. They will cancel it while you stay there, but if you already left, you will pay a ticket for sure.AVOID!If you really have to stay there, make sure you don't park inside!!!

Enough for a nights stay, but lacking in quality.

    rating22 Feb 2026

Liked - Price was cheap for the area. Parking was free and they were accommodating for the car to be parked ahead of check in. Luggage room was made available and the staff were polite. Family room was spacious and heated.Disliked - Not a welcoming reception desk - by that I mean decor looked more like I was about to be booked into a police custody suite and have my fingerprints taken, than be booked in for a hotel stay. On route to our room the carpets in the corridors were dirty and the same dirt was present 24 hours later. The rooms were clean, but not well cleaned - by that I mean there could have been more attention to detail (shower head descaled, muck cleaned off the side of the desk chair, bathroom lock was broken). A weird set up in the room where there was a sink, hob and fridge - yet the fridge was not on, no cutlery / plates, saucepans, or anything to accompany that area to make it useable and no dining seating, even if you did make a meal.

    Dirty and unsafe

    rating26 Dec 2025

Don’t stay here!!! Dirty and unsafe!I booked for 2 nights and changed my room 3 x on arrival. Eventually I said I can’t stay here, they said ‘ lots of people do this’ and agreed to refund my stay. I had to find somewhere else to stay at 21.30 at night. They only refunded 50% of my stay and ignored all my emails of complaints! I will never ever book an ibis hotel without checking the reviews ! I trusted the good name ibis , and I have stayed in many ibis hotels. They have all been lovely except this one! This one was terrible with door handles hanging off. Look at the photos!

Where the hell have work placed me?

    rating19 Jun 2022

Have you ever thought what it would be like to reside within a war zone? Well visit here!. Dreadful area and anywhere where you have security at 6pm says it all. The surrounding area is in the worst part of a rough borough. Drug addicts and gang members everywhere. Staff were friendly in fairness and looked out of place. Hotel has obviously had a spruce up and attempts to make it up to date fall on looking misplaced and not cool. Massive eating area surely a good menu to accommodate the guests. 3 soup starters and a 10 nugget starter. Main meals burger and chips or fish and chips. Saw one guest request use of a microwave...i should have followed his lead. Good portion of chips and burger consisting of wood minus the taste of wood. Shattered and ready to head to bed..i walked up 2 flights of stairs to find my first experience of a prison cell!! Single bed with hospital bed table. I must have been a good boy because I got a tv in my cell. I had a micro bathroom capable of removing the skin off my elbows when i brushed my teeth. Tripped over the bin twice in the bathroom as it could either be moved next to the toilet or 4cm towards the shower. Room with a view straight onto a very busy mosque but I'm open to beliefs and felt my rug sized bed was pointing towards Mecca so I got into it even more. Best thing about the stay was my wake up call at 0330hrs. I got in the car and got the hell.out of dodge before my wheels were nicked. Plus point staff and view down points everything else
