A good experience feeling the life in London.

Went there for Christmans, and it couldn't be better! The hotel is near from a bus station, that connects directly with Angel Station, where you can go to anywhere in London. The Staff is prepared to help guests for questions about the city, tips and others aspects. The room was warm and very confortable, even during the winter. The neighbourhood was exactly what we expected to feel Life style in London. I would definitely come back for the Hotel!

I have just returned from a 1 night business stay with a colleague. The location was perfect for us as we were training in Berners Road. The hotel is fine for this purpose, rooms were clean, (we stayed in rooms 101/102), lovely bathjroom, room nice and bright, with Indian feel. This is not a luxury hotel (hence the price), or a boutique hotel. Breakfast was fine, continental and lovely lady constantly clearing plates and filling up supplies. I have read the negative reviews and was a bit aprehensive, but my advice would be "get to the hotel early", and if you are not happy with the room there is still time to ask for a change of room. I wouldl be happy to stay again if I needed a place to stay in Islington. On the booking form I asked for a room close to my colleague, and this is exactly what we got.

    Not boutique

    rating15 Sept 2015

Not really as marketed. It's basically a budget hotel transported out of somewhere like Victoria or Euston and plonked in Highbury. Friendly enough but you can't call it boutique. I'd like to see by what definition it is that. Not all that easy to sleep either; quite noisy.

The room I stayed in was very small, it was very noisy from other guests on the 2nd floor, the walk in shower was extremely small, we had to get in it side ways, the room was NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE NOT WORTH THE MONEY, the train station was fairly close and staff helpful, however I wouldn't recommend this hotel, the room was that small we couldn't even open the door to the hotel without standing around the corner of the room, also it was very hot and noisy, the breakfast wasn't anything special and you have to pay extra for a full English breakfast, very far away from the main attractions also.
